TEMS Team. POLICY RECEIVING THE REQUEST: On-duty USAR or NIPAS E.S.T.TEMS team members will receive a request for mobilization, through a personal paging system. When on-duty team members are due to respond, they must immediately notify their supervisor. If necessary, the Shift Commander may request hire back personnel to replace personnel who are responding to the incident. When available, personnel responding to the incident will be allowed the use of a department vehicle and must adhere to Safety Operations Guideline – 004 Passenger and Driver Safety.
