SUBSTANCES: How can you differentiate the GROUP 1: SUGAR characteristics of samples that GROUP 2: PAPER undergo chemical and physical GROUP 3: WATER changes? GROUP 4: VINEGAR Do the physical properties being demonstrated are intensive or GROUP 5: CHALK extensive/? GROUP 6: ALCOHOL Content - 10 pts Rubrics Accuracy - 10 pts Teamwork - 10 pts Total - 30 pts Identify the chemical and physical properties in the following and classify physical properties into extensive and intensive properties. Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag 1. Mix the half-and-half, sugar, and vanilla in a resealable bag. Push as much air as you can out of the bag before you seal it. 2. Place the ice and the kosher salt in another resealable bag. 3. Place the sealed half-and-half mixture into the bag with the ice. Now seal up that outer bag. 4. Vigorously shake the bags for 5 to 10 minutes. When finished, the half-and-half mixture will harden to form ice cream. 5. Add toppings and enjoy. Assignment: Each group bring the following on Thursday (Sept. 1, 2022) Copy of lab activity sheet 200 mL of distilled water Rock salt (100grams)
