**THERAPEUTIC DIET ON DIABETES:** Diabetes is a chronic condition, marked by high level of blood glucose. It is caused by deficient production of insulin or resistance to it\'s action. In Type 1 Diabetes, the body does not produce sufficient insulin. In Type 2 diabetes, the body develops resistance to insulin action due to excess body fat. The body\'s resistance to insulin makes glucose not to be converted into glycogen leading to increase level of glucose in blood. High blood glucose leads to many complications like diabetic nephropathy, retinopathy, coronary heart disease and stroke. In effect, a diabetic diet should not be viewed as a restrictive diet that is prescribed for the sick. It must be viewed as a healthy diet appropriate for everyone to remain healthy. **DIETARY MANAGEMENT:** 1\. Eating at regular intervals helps to control hunger and prevents overreacting at the next meal. 2\. Limit carbohydrates food. 3\.
