"Should" means that the application of a procedure or provision is recommended. "May" means that the application of a procedure or provision is optional. "No person may..." or "a person may not..." mean that no person is required, authorized, or permitted to do the act concerned. Foreword This Cabin Crew Manual is prepared in accordance with Kish Air standards and under the authority of Flight Service Manager in compliance with the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization and IATA (IOSA) requirements. This manual and its contents, describes the policies and procedures of Kish Air. Cabin Crew Members shall comply with the regulations and procedures, which apply to their duties. The purpose of this Cabin Crew Manual is to provide the cabin Crew with the information on the standing orders, Cabin Crew overall responsibilities especially on the matters related to safety of the aircraft and to increase productivity and output. The purpose of this manual is to: 1. Establish essential rules and regulations for maintaining good discipline and working conditions among crew. 2. To provide effective and pragmatic procedures necessary for the best performance and practices. Kish Air shall ensure that the manual is amended or revised so that the instructions, procedures and information contained therein are kept up to date. Kish Air shall notify all holders of the Cabin Crew Manual of any latest amendments or revision to the manual. It is the responsibility of each cabin crew to keep their copy of manual updated with the latest amendments and keep their copy of manual in good condition and safe keeping. The CCM is prepared in English in electronic format by cabin crew department and is approved by company accountable manager after FSM in operations review. The CCM is revised as may be required, FSM is responsible for constantly reviewing the manual and issuing of necessary revisions. The revision (s) will be provided to central library. The central library officer (DCC officer) is responsible for preparation, approval and distribution of revision(s) to all manual holders according to company document control procedure. All Cabin Crew Members shall be provides with a personal copy or an electronic format of this manual. This manual is the primary source of information for all Cabin Crew Members. A copy of the Cabin Crew Manual shall be carried on board each Kish aircraft and shall be available to all personnel involved in flight operations. A Copy of cabin crew manual is located on board each aircraft library in unobstructed manner that each crew member has direct access to this manual. Operations Manual CCM Issue:04 ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL OF MANUAL Chapt: 0 Page:35 Rev.:01 RESPONSIBILITIES Date:AUG.2019 0.10 responsibilities to update personal copy(s) of manual(s) The manual must be up-to-date: The FSM is responsible to review and up to date the contents of this document each two years and assure a current and approved cabin crew manual is in place and each flight attendant has electronic copy(s) Each flight attendant must keep his/her own copy(s) of manual updated and deleted the previous downloaded CCM and inform the FSM. 0.11 Practical Manual (QRH) As CCM is heavy to carry for flight attendants, a simplified copy of CCM called quick reference hand (QRH) is issued. This copy contains all necessary parts of CCM that addresses duties and responsibilities relevant to the safety and security of cabin operations and procedure. Flight attendants shall carry an updated copy of QRH in each flight. The QRH contents: 1) Approved announcements in Farsi and English 2) Procedures in accordance with each specific aircraft type The senior cabin crew member shall check that each flight attendant is carrying the updated QRH before each flight in pre-flight briefings. 0.12 Common languages All communicate within the cabin and with the flight deck related and relevant for flight operations are to be conducted in Farsi or English.
