Advanced Machining Ironwood Pneumatic Up-Cut Saw            Primary uses is to cut rough sawn lumber length for dressing o Can be difficult to keep parts straight and tight to the fence due to various warpage o Pneumatically clamps boards down to the table o Orient bows against the fence and cups down on table Size is determined by max blade diameter Has short fences Has a small footprint on its own o Requires support tables on either side  Fences can be added to these Adjustment wheel at back raises and lowers the hood guard o Should be set about ¼” over work Air Switches o Cycle Air switch should be on, allows the blade to run o Guard Air brings the hood guard down o Both must be turned off if the saw is jammed Emergency stop only stops the blade, not the air cycle Foot pedal should be tapped and released Can cut multiple pieces at once o Must ensure proper stacking  Hood guard must be able to hold all pieces down o 18” blade will cut 12” wide at 2” thick or 10” at 4” thick Expensive blades, $500+, stay sharp a long time, 5/16” kerf
