INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING OBJECTIVE At the end of this lesson, pre-service teachers should be able to discuss the basic components of instructional planning correctly through group discussion BTI: 1.1.1 Demonstrate content knowledge and its application within and across curriculum teaching areas. 3.2.1 Implement teaching strategies responsive to the learners’ linguistic, cultural, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds. 1.5.1 Apply teaching strategies that develop critical and creative thinking and other higher-order thinking skills. INTRODUCTION In this lesson, you will demonstrate your knowledge of preparing a lesson guide using the basic components of instructional planning of the English subject for the primary and intermediate levels in elementary and applying appropriate teaching strategies through your teaching demonstration practicum.
