Find Someone Who Objective: Get students to interact and find common interests. 1. Create a list of statements such as “Find someone who has a pet”, “Find someone who has visited another province or municipality,” or “Find someone who enjoys riding a motorcycle”, “find someone who plays online games”. 2. Distribute the list to students. 3. Students must find classmates who has each statement and write their names next to their statement. 4. The first student to complete the list (or the most statements) wins. 5. Have a brief sharing session where students discuss what they learned about their classmates. Designing Self-Collages Create a collage using pictures, words, or symbols clipped from magazines that represent things they enjoy doing or own, places they've been, people they admire, or careers they desire. Place your names on the back, and post the collages around the room. Have the other students guess which collage belongs to whom and state why they made that guess.
