They were truly passionate about: Great Drinks, Great Service & Great Atmosphere. After struggling for many years to find a bar that did this well, in April of 1998, they decided to give it a go for themselves! They packed in their jobs, raised funds through credit card & car loans, and bought a run-down Indian restaurant on Battersea Rise. Over the following seven weeks the core identity of Be At One was born, and at the end of May 1998, Be At One Battersea Rise opened it’s doors, creating a legacy that lives to this day! This was followed by the opening of many, many more Be At One venues and the rest, as they say, is history. Offering a large variety of cocktails, premium spirits, beers & wines, Be At One provides a warm, friendly & unpretentious atmosphere for anyone to let their hair down and party. The music ranges from 50’s swing to modern classics and the ‘cutting-edge’ tunes are gladly sacrificed for the ‘old school’ bangers and party tunes that help create that infamous Be At One atmosphere! KEY & BOOK USE In Be At One we don’t just have one type of vodka, or one type or gin, which can make learning all these wonderful cocktails a little confusing! So unless the recipe states a particular brand of spirit, the general spirits and their corresponding products are listed below Spirit Product Vodka Absolut Rum Havana Club Especial Gin Beefeater Tequila Olmeca Altos Plata Bourbon Bulleit Scotch Johnnie Walker Black Brandy Courvoisier VS You will notice that there is a ‘Bubble Count’ column next to the ingredients, this represents the count you will pour the ingredient for. Generally speaking, each 1/4oz refers to a single bubble count. So 1oz is 4, 1 1/2oz is 6 etc For example, below: Alpha is 1oz and will be poured for a count of 4 Beta will be using a ‘juice pourer’ which pours at twice the normal rate - MUST be noted. Charlie pours slowly (usually liqueurs) and has an additional bubble count - MUST be noted. Delta will be jiggered (usually purees) as it does not bubble count - MUST be noted.
