Adopting the same music and fashion tastes as your friendship group The influence of a person or group on an individual through the process of accepting their attitudes, values, or behaviors as their own This type of influence occurs I N T E R N A L I S AT when an individual comes to ION believe that the attitudes, values, or behaviours of the person or group are right or valid E.g.
