The U.S. and Canada are considered as one region in the world because they have similar historical development, similar cultures and belong to a single land mass. 2. Transform boundaries occur when tectonic plates slide past each other' 3. Convergent boundaries are when one plate moves under another. 4. Divergent boundaries happen when tectonic plates move apart causing magma to rise and create new crust. 5. In a subtropical zone you will find warm dry summers, mild winters with moderate to high rainfall. 8.
