A Golf Experience provides new golfers with the opportunity to try golf in a safe, fun environment with other people who are at the same stage of their golfing journey. Golf Experiences are designed to drive new golfers into your 3 Level Learn to Play Golf Program. The frequency of events will depend on when your program is running and the number and type of new golfers you aim to convert. They are delivered in groups, with a maximum of 6 participants. This will provide opportunity to socially integrate new golfers into the club and know that they are on the journey with others of a similar ability. The Experiences can be delivered over 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 3 hours, depending on the needs of you and your club. Participants will have the opportunity to learn some of the skills they will need to play golf. Crucially, they will also have the opportunity to play on the golf course in a fun team scramble, providing them with a taste of the real game of golf. You are recommended to charge at a one-off event price. The fee will depend on your customer demographic and the coaching rate of the club. This fee should include all equipment and access to the golf course. These Experiences are designed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn all aspects of the game and to experience playing golf on the course in a fun team scramble format. Finally, the Experiences are tailored for new golfers with little or no prior experience in the game, ensuring that participants are at the same stage of their golfing journey. The Golf Experience Days aim to provide a great way to convert more customers and non-golfing members into the 3 Level Learn to Play Golf Program. Therefore, the structure of the Golf Experience event has been designed with this aim in mind A Golf Experience will be the first taste of golf for many participants. Therefore, delivering a welcoming and friendly environment will put them at ease. Through this positive experience, they will be more likely to convert into future programming you offer. The purpose of the Golf Experience is not to provide extensive technical instruction. Instead, aim to keep your Experience Day fun and highlight the moments that will keep your customers coming back for more. Keeping the Golf Experience social and informal will help foster friendships among participants. The games-based structure will encourage collaboration, and the friendships formed will motivate the group to progress to the next stage of learning together. The Golf Experience will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase your coaching, the available facilities, and offer insight into life at the club. The nature of the event, its duration, and the informal environment provide an ideal opportunity to get to know each customer and build a relationship with them. This builds trust, openness, confidence, and develops ongoing relationships. At the end of the Experience Day, you will have all the information you need. You can then direct the students to either the Learn to Play Golf Program or Private Lesson Programs in Phase 3 of the Coaching Pathway. Additionally, you can outline how the Social Programs can complement their experience. The Golf Experience Days are designed to engage and convert new golfers into your coaching offerings and club activities. Therefore, it is vital that your marketing activities and conversations are targeted towards capturing interest in those suited to the events. You should try to target the experience days towards current members, their families, and their friendship circles at your club. This is vital for engaging new customers and reinforcing your club\'s value proposition to current members, which, in turn, will reflect positively on the value you are offering. Secondly, you should aim to reach, activate, and inspire members from other sections of your club to begin playing golf, learn the game, and ultimately acquire the tools they need to upgrade their membership. Third and finally, the experience days will be attractive to new golfers in your local community, even those without any prior connection to the club. This initiative will help drive new membership growth, expand your reach in the local area, and inspire participants to encourage their golfing connections to join in. Golf Experiences can be tailored to accommodate durations of 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 3 hours based on the needs of you and your club. While the specific content of each option may vary, every experience day event should afford attendees the opportunity to learn every aspect of the game, receive an introduction to the golf course, and forge new social connections. The first duration option is a 60-minute Golf Experience, which includes learning around the green, on the green, and swing skills, as well as a fun course walk on a single hole. There is a 90-minute Golf Experience option, which includes learning around the green, on the green, swing skills, as well as playing a single hole on the golf course in a fun scramble format. Lastly, is the 180-minute Golf Experience, which includes learning around the green, on the green, and swing skills, along with 60 minutes of on-course time in a fun scramble format. Ultimately, the Experience Days serve as an opportunity to promote programs within Phase 3 of the Coaching Pathway. Participants are encouraged to enroll in the 3 Level Learn to Play Golf Program or, where appropriate, Private Lessons programs. Those in the Learn to Play Golf Program can further supplement their learning by attending a range of Adult Social Group Coaching sessions. You are the expert guide on the journey of each participant and they will be looking to you for the answer to, "so, what next?" Be bold but authentic. Suggest the next step for them to ultimately help them enjoy the game, engage in your activity and become engaged at your club.
