### Overtime Pay

• Annual hours of work vary depending on the principal assignment: 2,713 hours for fire suppression and EMS, and 2,080 hours for fire prevention.

### Conditions for Overtime Assignments

• Overtime pay is not denied to employees who are in the station and not on assignment.
• A minimum of 0.5 hours of overtime pay is given to employees who work over 15 minutes beyond their regular tour of duty.
• Overtime is calculated to the nearest tenth of an hour.
• Overtime begins when the employee reports to their assigned station.
