- Controlling: Evaluating how well goals are met
Types of Management in Nursing
- Nurse Managers: Includes unit manager, nurse manager, nursing unit supervisor, clinical manager, nursing unit administrator (NUA)
- Responsibilities include a range of complex responsibilities, dealing with complaints, participating in nursing policy formation, decisions making, and recruitment selections, ensuring quality care, and managing operational aspects of a unit/service
