Graduates of the S1 psychology higher education program with the old curriculum system or those who took undergraduate psychology higher education and graduated from professional psychology education or Masters in Psychology (Psychologist Profession). * Psychologists are authorized to provide psychological services covering the areas of clinical practice and counseling; research; teaching; supervision in training, community service, policy development; social and clinical interventions; development of psychological assessment instruments; conducting assessments; counseling; organizational consulting; activities in the field of forensics; program design and evaluation; as well as administration. * Psychologists are required to have a license to practice psychology in accordance with applicable regulations. Dasar & Metode Intervensi Psikologi Implication of Ethical Code Client’s confidentiality - as interventionist we have to guard the Clients’ confidentiality - the Client has the right to know the points/ notes of their intervention - in general, parents also assumed to have the right to know the points of intervention - The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) arrange about the privacy of this points of intervention (APA, 2013). - however, some clients do not want other people to access the point of their intervention, only for him/ herself. Dasar & Metode Intervensi Psikologi Violation of the Psychological Code of Ethics If there is a violation of Kode Etik Psikologi Indonesia, The Central Executive Board in collaboration with the Regional Executive will give comments to the Regional or Central Psychological Council. Dasar & Metode Intervensi Psikologi Violation of the Psychological Code of Ethics Majelis Psikologi (MP) will make clarification to HIMPSI MEMBERS THAT CONDUCT. the violation Base on explanation from the member and other data that can be gathered, the MP will decide something for the violation of ethics If the member who is evaluate as conducting misbehavior did not feel satisfied with the decision, if it is necessary, the district management can cooperate with the central management, as well as the Psychology Council if deemed necessary, the Central Management in collaboration with the relevant Regional Management can accompany the Psychology Council to discuss the issue, either to the members concerned or to announce it according to the interests. Considering the importance of this Psychology Code of Ethics, please read the Indonesian Psychology Code of Ethics which has been prepared by the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI). Find out which psychological code of ethics are violated by these subjects NB: Download the Himpsi code of ethics at https://himpsi.or.id/organization/kode-etik-psikologi-indonesia CASE 1 Noni is a cheerleader extracurricular alumnus at a public high school. At a meeting, Noni was asked to attend because there was a problem experienced by the cheerleaders related to the program. Noni as an alumni and has been in that extracurricular for 3 years feels that she knows the problems that occur and immediately arranges a program based on her previous experience. She developed a program to increase the motivation of members to be more involved in extracurricular activities. Noni made the program and at the meeting Noni encouraged the program to be carried out as soon as possible and required all participants to be involved. During the program, some members turned out to have appointments with family members or with group work for their schoolwork. Noni feels extracurricular is more important than these things and requires them to remain present. Noni even proposed to extracurricular to punish those who did not attend. CASE 2 Dito is a guidance and counseling teacher at a private junior high school and a Youtuber. He is also a graduate of Bachelor of Psychology , University of Indonesia. Currently, Dito accompanies his students who have experienced violence with the suspects of several staff at the school. This case happened in a well-known school, so it was widely covered by the media. In fact, the media also try to get details of the investigation of the case at the Police. Dito knew the case in detail because he was accompanying the police during the investigation. He also accompanies his students during the discussion process with legal advisors. Dito saw that the public already had some information, so it was no problem for him to share a little more on his Youtube channel so that viewers who were interested in this case could get more complete information. This is also done so that the public knows the existing cases and puts pressure on law enforcers so that this case is decided more quickly because it interferes with the welfare of the students. CASE 3 Dono has a high level of education. He attended a bachelor's degree in psychology, a psychological science master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology, and a doctoral degree in psychology. Currently he is a motivator, both in the real world and in cyberspace. He has millions of fanatical followers Apart from being a motivator, he also practices psychology. At his seminars attended by lay psychologists, he shared that he has the ability to diagnose and heal people from psychological disorders, even serious psychological disorders such as trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. He invited them to have themselves examined on him and assured that he could cure any mental disorder. Many of the seminar participants consult their conditions to Dono. Dono developed romantic relationships and even sexual relations with some who consult with him. Some inappropriate chats were also known to be sent by Dono to several of his clients. Dono diagnoses many of his clients and claims that they are cured after several consultations with him. Some people who are disappointed with him will get terror from his followers in
