Rizal Park The bronze and granite Rizal Monument by Swiss sculptor Richard Kissling was originally called “Motto Stella,” or “Guiding Star,” and was unveiled on Dec. 30, 1913, during the 17th death anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal. Its granite base contains the national hero's remains. Rizal Park Famously known as Luneta, commemorates the sacrifice of Dr. José Rizal, honoring his pivotal role in Philippine history and advocating for national identity and freedom. Andres Bonifacio Shrine The Bonifacio Monument, which was sculpted by Guillermo Tolentino in 1933, an obelisk, rises to a height of 13.7 meters (45 ft); the obelisk is made up of five parts representing five aspects of the society, "Kataastaasan, Kagalanggalang na Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan Andres Bonifacio Shrine The Andres Bonifacio Shrine, situated in Manila, showcases Bonifacio's pivotal role in the Philippine Revolution and his contributions to the nation's fight against Spanish colonization.
