You start pondering on questions concerning existence, essence, spirituality, religion and God FEELINGS AND EMOTION Paul Ekman - identified six basic human emotions 1. Happiness 2. Sadness 3. Fear 4. Anger 5. Surprise 6. Disgust Emotion - derived from the Latin verb "movere," refers to variations in arousal levels, mood, expressive movements, and attitudes. Are Feelings the same as emotion? - According to Dr. Damasio, from a neuroscientific approach, feeling that arises from the brain as it interprets an emotion, which is usually caused by physical sensations experienced by the body as a reaction to a certain phenomena.
