In healthcare practice and as part of our professional obligation to provide the best care possible based on the best available knowledge and evidence. The knowledge we generated from research is one form of evidence. Best practices can be generated through evidence-based practice research. Becoming Research Aware - Research awareness is not limited to undertaking research yourself but it also means being able to analyze the components of various research studies to determine what is good research and has more applicability to our patients. The greater number of nurses utilizing research reduce the gap between research and practice. Evidence-based practice (EBP) o The use of EBP in the healthcare create a huge impact in the profession of every healthcare practitioner. EBP reduces the mortality and morbidity in the field of maternal and child.
