Translate EMR order 1P Note: If step combine indicator is turned on (depending on harmonized configuration), medication orders with "THEN" involving the same drug item, translated dose and frequency, will have the total duration combined in the instructions. 1P 1Q The Step combine indicator is configured in parameter configuration “Translation – Instruction”. 1Q Note: EMR Order Tab E.g. Prednisolone 20mg OM x 1 week THEN Prednisolone 20mg OM x 1 week is combined to Prednisolone 20mg OM x 2 weeks in the instructions. Module 3: Typing & Printing 5 3.4 Translate EMR Orders i. Translate EMR order 1R Note: If step combine indicator is turned off (depending on harmonized configuration), medication orders with "THEN" involving the same drug item, translated dose and frequency will not have their total duration combined in the instructions. 1S Note: E.g. E.g., Dosing Instruction is 1Aa setup as “S#” (Take # mL) for Dose Unit “MG”. 1Ab Note: For this EMR order, Dose Unit ordered is “MG”. 1Ab Hence, the instruction appear as “Take 1 mL once a day”. The rounding rule as follow: 1Ac 1. If drug dosage > 5​mL, round to 1 decimal place​ 2. If drug dosage > 1 mL to < 5 mL, round to nearest 0.05 mL 3. If drug dosage < 1 ​mL, round to 2 decimal place​ EMR Order Tab Module 3: Typing & Printing 11 3.4 Translate EMR Orders i. Translate EMR Order 1Ad Note: is 6.13 ML, rounding rule 1 is applied – Dose > 5 mL, round to 1 decimal place. Hence, 6.1 mL. S/N 2: Dose ordered is 2.03 ML, rounding rule 2 is applied – Dose > 1 mL to < 5 mL, round to nearest 0.05 mL. Hence, 2.05 mL. S/N 3: Dose ordered is 1Ad 0.063 ML, rounding rule 3 is applied – Dose < 1 ​mL, EMR Order Tab round to 2 decimal place​. Hence, 0.06 mL. Module 3: Typing & Printing 12 3.4 Translate EMR Orders i. Translate EMR Order 1Ae Note: Translation results on the EMR order quantity and “Maximum Order Quantity” of the item 1Ae setup in “Item Dispense Information”. For this item, the “Maximum Order Quantity” setup is 200 TAB. E.g. S/N1 translates based on maximum order quantity setup which is 200 TAB when order quantity is blank. S/N2 translates based on EMR Order Tab order quantity of 250 TAB. Order quantity has priority over “Maximum Order Quantity”. Hence, the order quantity is 250 TAB. Module 3: Typing & Printing 13 3.4 Translate EMR Orders i. Translate EMR Order 1Af Note: The maximum order will translation apply to step order as well. Translation results depends on the EMR order quantity 1Af and “Maximum Order Quantity” of the item setup in “Item Dispense Information”. For this item, the “Maximum Order Quantity” setup is 200 TAB. E.g. SN1 translates based on maximum order quantity which is 200 TAB for the step EMR Order Tab order when order quantity is blank. Module 3: Typing & Printing 14 3.4 Translate EMR Orders i. Translate EMR Order 1Ag Note: When EMR order is without “Dose”, translation results will depend on “Order Quantity Per Duration" and “Duration In Days” of the item setup in 1Ag “Item Dispense Information”. For this item, the “Order Quantity Per Duration” is 10 TAB and “Duration In Days” is 20 days. 1Ag E.g. SN1 translated to “Ord Qty” = 20 TAB. All other active meds in PML, to determine if there is any active EMR Orders not in current medication group. Who will use it? ✓ Pharmacy staff involved in checking and dispensing medications against EMR order. When will it be used? ✓ When medications are checked prior to dispensing. ✓ When patient is called to the dispensing counter for medication counselling. E.g., Metformin HCl 500mg Tablet is in red because previous dispense record was Metformin HCl 250mg Tablet. 2I Note: Delta remarks indicate what columns have changes. E.g., There is a change in Order Comparison item from Metformin HCl 250mg Tablet to Metformin HCl 500mg Tablet. Hence Delta remarks reflected “Change Item”.
