Summary
This document is a project assignment for a muscle anatomy course. Students need to hand-draw and color various muscle groups (back, shoulder, suboccipital) and label them accordingly, referencing specific anatomy books. The project is due February 22, 2024 and worth 25 points.

FAB Spine 101 MUSCLE DRAWING PROJECT DUE DATE: nd Thursday, Februay 22 , 2024 at 5PM 1. Make a cover sheet with names of all participants, date, group number and the name of the project (you can type or write this one). Also, include a copy of this sheet and the list of muscles (below) required for this project behind the cover sheet. Use these as a check list before submission of pdf file to Canvas (1 point) 2. HAND-DRAW AND COLOR the six layers of back muscles as listed below. Use a separate page for each layer of muscle. The templates of the skeleton and upper extremity is attached with this email as well as the references for these templates (you need to cite these templates if you decide to use them). On each sheet of the drawing muscle, list the Origin, Insertion, Nerve Supply and Action (OINA) of the individual muscle in each layer using Cramer and Darby’s book. LABEL EACH MUSCLE FOR IDENTIFICATION if you draw more than one muscle in the picture (Recommend: draw only 2 muscles per picture, one on left side and one on right side of the template’s skeleton). (11 pts.) 3. HAND-DRAW AND COLOR the shoulder muscles (listed on the attached sheet). The information for the shoulder muscles can be found in Moore’s Clinical Anatomy book. (4 pts.) On each sheet of the drawing, list the OINA of each individual muscle. (4 pts.) 4. HAND-DRAW AND COLOR the suboccipital muscles, list their OINA’s. (3 pts.) 5. All the muscles that must be drawn are listed on the attached sheet. 6. IMPORTANT !!! Put the last names of all participants and date on each page of your drawing project and type or write your references (titles, author, and page numbers) of the resources you have used for your OIANs on a separate sheet at the end of the project. (2 pts) nd 7. I will collect the project on Thursday, February 22 , 2024 from lab time until 5PM (after 5PM in the afternoon of deadline date is considered as late project.) Please save your project in PDF file and attach it to Project #! in Canvas. There will be no exceptions to this deadline. If you have completed the Project and wanted to hand it in earlier, please do so. I will check your project for you and return for correction without points deduction. 30% OF YOUR POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR TARDINESS. 8. You can earn up to 25 points if the projects are done correctly with all the requested materials. Partial credit may be given. Any questions, ask or email me at [email protected] MUSCLES OF THE SIX LAYERS OF THE BACK – Use Cramer and Darby’s Book First Layer: 1. Trapezius 2. Latissimus Dorsi Second Layer: 3.
