(Background of the person/s) How close was the author to the event being studied? 2. When was the account/primary source made? 3. What type of primary source is it? 4. What is the content of the account/primary source? (Limited only to what’s in the excerpt/pdf in the Daigler). Present in detail. 5. What is the main point the author is trying to make? 6. For what or whom was the account/primary source made? Why? 7. Does the text provide an author’s point of view, bias, or opinion? Are there biases to be accounted for? What are they? 8. Does informed common sense make the account probable? Explain. 9. Is the account/primary source corroborated by other accounts?
