These are ways users are able to share information and receive more vivid, interactive forms of communication. Live Communication Video call, live streaming and interactive webinars have become the order of the day, and people are able to maintain personal as well as professional relationships that extend beyond distances. Applications like Zoom and Skype incorporate multimedia elements that allow face-to-face communication from afar. E-Learning Multimedia has provided ways through which education is extended in several ways, such as video and simulations, interactive quizzes, and even virtual environments. Interactive learning experiences are further facilitated by education platforms like Coursera and Khan Academy among others through multimedia tools. Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) For instance, VR and AR, in general, have become extremely potent educational instruments. Students can go on virtual field trips, explore 3D models of historical landmarks, or even practice surgeries in an intangible environment- this all helps boost engagement while improving learning outcomes.
