Food and feed business operators (FBO’s) responsabilities -Do not place on the market unsafe food/feed -Traceability (“one step forward, one step back” approach) -Regular controls in their production (HACCP) -Withdrawal/ recall of non-compliant products -Immediate alert of competent authorities of unsafe food/feed FBO’s have the primary responsibility for the safety of the food and feed placed on the market!
