SOURCE OF LIGHT -- The direction where the light is coming from. 2. REFLECTED LIGHT -- The light reflected from the surface to a side or sides of an object. 3. HIGHLIGHT -- The part of an object where the light is reflected to the viewer's view. 4. MID-TONE -- Transition point from the highlight to the core of the shadow. 5. CORE OF THE SHADOW -- The darkest part of the composition. 6. CASTED SHADOW -- The shadow is produced based on the direction of the source of light.
