Is hathiyer ko is prakar se banaya gaya taki yeh khule ground mein, tuti futi zamin, dhalan ke piche ya phir open trench mein chupe dushman ko barbad kar sake. Dusre vishwa yudh ke baad adhunik pranali ke small arms aur gren launcher ka vikas hua. Adhunik pranali ke wpns ko do group mein banta gaya: - (a) Individual wpn (b) Crew served wpn. 5. Individual wpn group mein Pistol, Assault Rif, Light Machine Gun, standard calibre Sniper Rif, Hand Held Anti-tank aur Anti-personal gren launcher, Sub Machine Gun aur Smooth Bore Combat Shot Guns ko shamil kiya gaya. Crew served wpn group mein Mounted Machine Guns, Large Calibre Sniper Rif, Anti Material Rif aur Mounted Anti- Personal aur Anti-tank gren launcher ko sahamil kiya gaya hai. 6. Small arms pranali mein, bade calibre wale mounted machine gun lambe samay tak kafi asardar anti pers wpn rahe jo ki takriban 2000 m rg tak khule mein ya patli kavach pehne dushman ko barbad kar sakte the. Iska istemal B veh ke khilaf bhi kiya ja sakta tha. Lekin yeh machine gun lambe rg par kafi bare ilaqe mein faile hue dushman par asardar nahi tha kyonki inke bullet mein gati urja kafi hone ke bavajood tgt illaqe mein, ek burst par, bullets ki matra kam thi. 7. Isliye 1960 mein ek naye prakar ke anti personal wpn “Automatic Grenade Launcher” ka avishkar kiya gaya. Yeh Lr bade calibre wali machine gun ki tulna mein dushman ke upar kafi asardar siddh hue. Yeh kshamta is hathiyar ko is se fire hone wale fragmentration type ke gren se hasil hui, kyonki is gren se kaafi chharre nikalte hain jo tgt area mein iski ghatakata ko badha dete hai. Lamba Rg aur Accuracy. (a) AGS-30 ka kargar range is prakar se hai: - S No Sight VOG - 17M & GPD - 30 VOG - 30 (i) Open Sight 800 mtr 800 mtr Lr Low Angle 50 - 1776 mtr 50 - 2111 mtr (ii) Sight High Angle 1045 - 1750 mtr 978 - 2100 mtr Sighting Rg = 1700m / 2100m (b) AGS-30 ka kargar rg 1776 m/2111 m hai jo ki ise nimn karnon se milta hai: - (i) Amn Ki Ghatakata. AGS-30 se fire hone wale gren se casuality, gren ke phatne se nikalne wale chharron ke dawara hoti hai naaki gren ke gati ki uraja se. Isliye AGS-30 ke max rg tak gren ghatak hai. RESTRICTED RESTRICTED 4 (ii) Accuracy. AGS-30 se iske max rg 1776 m/ 2111 m tak tgt ko nimn karanon ki wajah se sateek roop se engage kiya ja sakta hai: - (aa) Fixed Mounting. AGS -30 mein fix mounting se stability milti hai, jisse grenade ka phailav kam hota hai. (ab) Weight. Bhari purje hone ke karan lr mein jump kam hota hai aur majboot recoli spring ke karan jhatke kam lagte hain jisse accuracy badh jati hai. (ac) Sight Unit. Sight PAG-30 ka magnification 2.7 guna hai, jiski wajah se lr ko tgt par asani se durust lay kiya ja sakta hai. 13. Fire Ki Raftaar AGS -30 kewal automatic mode par hi fire karta hai. Jab trigger ko press karte hai to lr cyclic rate se fire karta hai. Isliye fire ki raftar kitne samay ke liye trigger ko press kiya gaya hai aur burst ke beech ke waqfe par nirbhar karta hai. AGS-30 ki fire ki raftar is prakar hai:- (a) Normal - 50 Gren/Min (Trigger press 1 Sec, Waqfa 7 Sec) (b) Rapid - 100 Gren/Min (Trigger press 2 Sec, Waqfa 6 Sec) (c) Cyclic - 400 Gren/Min (6-7 Gren/ Sec) 14. Bhari Tadaat Mein Lagataar Fire. AGS-30 se bhari tadaad mein lagatar fire kar sakte hai, isko yeh qabliyat nimn karanon se milti hai:- (a) Majboot Purje. Majboot purje hone ki wajah se lr mein firing ke dauran toot-phoot kam hoti hai, jiski wajah se bhari tadaad mein lagatar fire kiya ja sakta hai. (b) Belt Feed. AGS-30 ko amn ki supply ek belt ke zariye milti hai, lekin 30 gren fire hone ke baad amn box ko badli karne ki zarurat padti hai. (c) Hawa Se Thanda Hone Wala Brl. Iska brl ki banawat hawa se thanda hone wala hai, jisko lagatar 180 gren fire hone ke baad thanda karne ki zarurat padti hai. Brl par Pani dalkar bhi thanda kiya ja sakta hai. 15. Lachak. AGS-30 ki banawat aur lr sight ki wajah se isko prabhavshali dhang se ground role, veh aur heptr par mount role me bhi fire kiya ja sakta hai. AGS-30 se din aur raat ke samay mein asani se fire kiya ja sakta hai. Iske mount mein elevation aur traversing mechanism hone ke karan bhi isko lachak milti hai. Bina mount ko hilae, lr mein 41 o ka traverse aur 81o upar-neeche ki harqat ki jaa sakti hai. 16. Area Wpn. AGS 30 se fragmentation kism ka gren fire hota hai jo ki phatne ke baad lagbhag 600 chhote-chhote tukron mein charon taraf jata hai. Gren ka maar dalne ka ilaka point of burst se 7 mtr charon taraf hai (VOG-17/17A aur inke variant mein) joki 90% casuality kar sakta hai. Auto fire ke dauran gren ke pahilav se beaten zone bhi banta hai. In kaaranon se yeh hathiyaar, ek burst mein, kaafi bare ilaaaqe mein casuality karne ki kshamta rakhta hai. 17. Fuze Ki Savendanshilta. AGS-30 se fire hone wale gren ka fuze bahut hi savedanshil hai. Yeh fuze pani ki satah, pedon ki tahniyon aur naram bhumi par takarane se bhi phat jata hai. Is liye is gren ka istemal, pedon ke tehnion se takrakar, neeche chhupe dushman ko marne ke liye kiya ja sakta hai. 18. Trajectory. AGS se low angle aur high angle trajectory mein fire kiya ja sakta hai. Trajectory ka chunao target ke dikhawat aur dushman ki posn par nirbhar karta hai. Low RESTRICTED RESTRICTED 5 angle trajectory ka istemal har range par kiya ja sakta hai. Lekin high angle trajectory 1045 mtr se 1750 mtr tak hi kargar hai. High angle trajectory se indirect fire ke dawara kisi crest ke piche asani se fire kar sakte hai. Hadbandiyan 19. Visheshtaon ke sath - sath is Lr ki kuchh hadbandiyan bhi hai, jo is parkar hai:- (a) Bhari tadad mein lagatar fire karne se chhote purzon ka tut jana, jaise ki strut ityaadi. (b) Lagatar 180 gren fire karne ke baad brl ko thanda karna padta hai. AGS mein spare brl nahi di gayi hai. (c) Dhul, dhuan aur shola paida hone se lr posn jahir ho jati hai. Siting ke samay sahi posn ka chunao hona chahiye. Posn ke aas-pass pani chidkane se dhul kam ho sakti hai. Bhag - II : Chalne Ka Siddhant 20. AGS-30 blowback with API (Advance Primer Ignition) ke sidhant par kaam karta hai. Iska matlab gren chamber mein puri tarah baithne se thora pahle fire ho jata hai. Jab gren fire hota hai to bolt aage ki harkat mein hota hai isliye gren ke fire hone se paida hone wala reaction force ya blowback force (peeche ka dhakka) do bhaagon mein bant jata hai. Yeh pehle bolt ke aage ki harkat ko kabbu karta hai aur baad mein bolt ko pichhe dhakelta hai. Simple Blowback (AGL-17 ka sidhant) mein poora reaction force bolt ko peeche dakhelne mein kaam aata hai. Isliye Blowback with API mein Simple Blowback ke tulna mein bolt kam uraja se peeche ki harqat karta hai jiske karan bolt aur lr ke parts par dabaav kam padta hai aur inhein halka banaya ja sakta hai. 21. Mechanical Safety. Jab Gren fire hota hai to brl ke andar austan 1200 kgf/cm2 ka peak pressure paida hota hai. Peak pressure se safe pressure mein aane ke liye breech end ka khulna ya, gren ke muzzle se bahar nikalkar, muzzle end ka khulna zaruri hai. Yadi breech end muzzle end se pahle khul jata hai to firer aur hathiyar ko high pressure gas se khatra ho sakta hai. Wpn aur firer ki suraksha ke liye lr aur iske amn ko is prakar se banaya gaya hai ki Breech end khulne se pahle gren muzzle end ko chhod de. Iski mech safety is prakar se hai:- (a) API. Blowback with API mein gren, bolt ke aage ki harqat ke dauran hi fire ho jata hai. Isliye jab tak bolt ki aage ki harqat kabbu hoti hai aur bolt apne peeche ki harqat karna shuru karta hai, tab tak fire hua gren muzzle se bahar nikal jata hai. (b) Chhota Brl. Iski brl ko itna lamba banaya gaya hai ki cartridge case chamber se puri tarah extract hokar breech end ke khulne se pahle gren muzzle end ko chhod deta hai. (c) Bhari Bolt Aur Majboot Recoil Spring. Bhari bolt aur majboot recoil spring hone ke karan, bolt ke pichhe ki harkat slow hoti hai jiske karan breech end khulne se pehle fire hua gren muzzle end se bahar nikal jata hai. (d) Parallel Chamber Aur Cartridge Case. (i) Parallel chamber aur parallel cartridge case hone ke karan jab tak pura cartridge case chamber se extract nahi ho jata tab tak breech end nahi khulta hai. RESTRICTED RESTRICTED 6 (ii) Ismein pura cartridge case chamber ki diwar ke sath laga hota hai aur ise pichhe dhakelne ke liye jayada force ki zarurat padti hai jiske karan breech end khulne mein delay paida hoti hai. (e) Low Power Amn. (i) Low power amn ke karan adhiktam pressure 1200kgf/cm2 hi paida hota hai. (ii) Low pressure hone ke karan bolt par lagne wala reaction force bhi kam hota hai aur Peak pressure safe pressure tak jaldi aa jata hai. (f) Cartridge Case Ke Pichhle Bhag Ka Majboot Hona. (i) Cartridge case ka pichhe wala bhag mota hone ke karan, jab cartridge case ka pichhla hissa chamber ki diwar ke sath nahi laga hota hai to, wah high pressure ko sahan kar leta hai. (ii) Yeh sthiti do maukon par hoti hai:- (aa) Jab gren chamber mein puri tarah baithne se pahle fire ho jata hai. (ab) Bolt ke peeche ki harqat ke dauran jab cartridge case chamber se thoda pichhe nikal jata hai aur is samay gren ne bhi muzzle end ko nahi chhoda hota hai. AGS Sec Ki Banawat 22. Ladai ke maidan mein kisi bhi hathiyar ka zyada se zyada faida uthane ke liye yeh zaruri hai ki uske sath kaam karne wali toli aur hathiyar donon surakshit rahe. Usi prakar 30 mm AGS-30 se kargar fire girane ke liye yeh zaruri hai ki morche ka chunav durust ho aur durust khudai ki jae. (b) Kyonki hum Lr se high angle aur indirect fire kar sakte hein, isiliye chuna huwa sthan defiladed posn hona chahiye aur enemy obsn se bahar hona chahiye. Agar ho sake to forward slope aur sky line par nahi hona chahiye. (c) Field of fire saaf hona chahiye. Gren ki udaan ke raste mein koi bhi rukawat nahi honi chahiye nahi to khud ke liye khatra ho sakta hai. (d) AGS-30 ek Bn ka ahmiyat wala hathiyar hai, isse kabhi bhi flank mein site nahi karna chahiye aur iske local protection ke liye minimum ek rif sec hona chahiye. VOG ka full form Russian bhasa mein “Vystrely Oskolochnoy Granaty” hai, kiska matlab „Grenade jiske shell phatne se chhare nikalte hain‟ hai. (b) VOG 17M. Yeh VOG 17A ka modified version ha. Iske ander worm wheel aur gear rakha gaya hai, jiske karan drum ghumane se worm wheel aur gear ghumta hai aur saath hi scale mein parivartan aa jaata hai. (o) Plank. Bushing ko dhila karne se bubble upar-niche hota hai. (t) Elevation Coarse Scale. Is mein 0 se 200 mils tak nichai laga sakte hain aur 1400 mils tak unchai laga sakte hai. Har 100 mils ke liye lakir aur har 200 mils ke liye ek ank khuda hua hai. Indicator reading padhne ke kaam aata hai. (u) Elevation Micro Scale. Elevation drum ki puri golai par, ek-ek mil ke liye lakiren hai, jo unchai ka kon padne ke kaam aati hai. Iski puri golai par 100 mils tak padh sakte hein. Har 5 mils ke liye thodi badi line hai, aur har 10 mils ke liye bhi line aur hisse khude huye hain. Sight ko Mount aur Dismount karna 10. Sight ko Lr par nimnlikhit prakar se mount aur dismount kiya jata hai:- (a) Mount Sight. Is aadesh par No 1, sight ko case se bahar nikaalta hai aur coarse azimuth scale par 30 00 mils lagata hai. Yeh “0” (zero) posn mana jata hai. Ab receiver bracket ke catch ko dahine haath se clock wise ghumata hai. Bayen haath se sight ko pakdate huye sight axle ko bracket mein dakhil karta hai aur catch ko chhod deta hai. Saath hi yakin karta hai ki sight thik se lag gayi hai. (b) Dismount Sight. Is Aadesh par No 1, catch ko clock wise ghumaata hai aur sight ko bayen taraf khinchta hai. Clamp ko chhod deta hai. Ab coarse azimuth scale par 45 00 mils lagata hai. Sight axle ko socket par rakhta hai aur case ko band kar deta hai. (Puri class se bari - bari abhyas liya jayega) Hissa-II : Reticle Pattern Ka Aam Bayan. 11. Is sight ke casing ke andar paanch kism ke glass hai. Objective glass, Prism, eye piece, protective glass aur plane parallel plate. Yeh sabhi internally arrange kiye gaye hai. Protective glass ke niche ek plane parallel plate hai, jis par reticle pattern banaya gaya hai. Iske istemal se hum kisi tgt ki chaurai mils mein, fire ka correction aur tgt ka rg bhi malum kar sakte hai. Iske reticle mein do tarah ke scale hai, sight angle scale aur lateral correction scale. Is scale par do tarah ke scale hai, jis par 1,2,……..7 tak hisse khude hai joh utne hi rg ko zahir karte hai. (Λ) Aise mark 100 mtr ke fasle par khuda hua hai. (I) Aise mark har 50 m ke fasle par khuda hai. Yadi tgt 500 mtr par hai to 5 ke barabar (Λ) is mark ke upar wala pt chune hue nishan par milaaya jaata hai. Yadi tgt 550 mtr duri par hai to 5 likhe gaye mark ke nichhe wala (I) ke upar wala point, chune hue nishan par milaaya jaata hai. (b) Lateral Correction Scale. Sight angle scale ke bayen aur dahine yeh scale banayaa gaya hai. Is ke upar 20, 40, 60 hisse tatha lakiren hai. Ek lakir se dusri lakir 5 mils ke antar par banaya gaya hai. Yeh scale mils mein hai. Iska kaam tgt ki chaurai naapne tatha tgt ka khara angle napne ke liye hai. (c) Central Sight Mark. Direction ko maintain karta hai aur khade angle naapta hai. (d) Range Malum Karna. Yadi kisi tgt ka khadaa angle mtr mein aur khadaa angle mils mein malum ho to, range malum kar sakte hai. Is ka formula nimn hai:- (i) Mils Mein Khadaa Angle Napna. Lateral correction scale ki choti line 2 mils, badi line 3 mils, central sight mark 5 mils aur vertical line 20 mils ka khada angle napti hai. (ii) Mtr Mein Khara Angle Napna. Aadmi - 1.5 mtr 2.5 Ton - 2.5 mtr ALS - 3.5 mtr Tank - 3.5 mtr Distance Tgt ka khara angle (mtr) mein x 1000 (Tgt ka rg Mtr mein) = Tgt ka khara angle (mils) mein Note: Sight PAG 17 ko AGL-17 ke saath aur PAG-30 ko AGS 30 ke saath istemal kiya jaana chahiye, kyonki ek hi range par AGL-17 aur AGS-30 ka alag alag AP hota hai jiske karan PAG-17 aur PAG-30 ke sight angle marks ke beech ki doori me pharak hai. Agar PAG 17 ko AGS-30 ke saath istemal karna hai to 700 m se neeche fire karte samay AP ko padhkar lagaya jae aur sight angle mark ka istemal na kiya jae. Sight ko operation me laane se pehle, technical inspection aise karein:- Inspection ka uddeshya / Technical jaruratein Inspection ka tarika Sight ke hisse purze aur spare Hisse purze aur spare parts poore parts ka sarsari taur par inspection. hone chahiye.
