Collect the sample: Collect a small sample of stool in a clean, dry container. 2. Prepare the slide: Place a drop of saline solution on a clean glass slide, then add a small portion of the stool sample and mix using a wooden stick. 3. Staining: If using iodine solution, add a drop of iodine to the slide. 4. Covering: Place a coverslip over the sample. 5. Examination: Place the slide on the microscope stage and examine it under different magnifications to identify any Ascaris eggs. Observation "Under the microscope at 40x magnification, Ascaris eggs were clearly visible. The eggs were oval in shape, with an average length of approximately 50 micrometers and a width of about 30 micrometers. The outer shell of the egg was thick and distinct
