R Background Information Impact Day is an annual day of service that Deloitte professionals volunteer in their local communities. Impact Day is important to Deloitte as it demonstrates their commitment to benefit their communities. Our Recommendation Handy, Inc is a company that works in education and career development, aiding the youth (Youth meaning people ages 5-25, mainly those at the higher age so we can focus more on career planning and the focuses of Deloitte.) to achieve success and be the best they can be through their LIFE program. Handy, Inc is both workforce and Handy, education Increlated. Is a great match for Deloitte as they both share similar values of helping the community and supporting those in the workforce. Solution/Volunteer Project Our Impact Day project is centered around a mentoring initiative led by Deloitte employees. They will offer guidance and support to the youth of the Handy, Inc LIFE program. These mentors will help equip participants with essential workplace skills, providing them with valuable, free mentorship that prepare them for successful careers. Deloitte would like this collaboration as it aligns with giving back to the community and empowering the next generation of professionals. Additionally, this collaboration will interest Deloitte in the future as it gives them future clients. The same people who came to Reasoning 1 In 2017, the Deloitte France Foundation started a similar mentorship program, meaning Deloitte already has previous experience. This program allowed those from lower-economic backgrounds to reach a higher education. From the experience Deloitte has, less mistakes will be made, and a larger impact is possible. Reasoning 2 This mentorship program aligns with both Deloitte and Handy Inc.'s values in helping the community. Deloitte's purpose is to make an impact that matters, together. Handy, Inc's purpose is to help every youth find their future. The mentorship program not only will leave an impact on the community, but it heavily emphasizes both Handy, Inc. and Deloitte working together to reach this impact. This program will help guide the youth to potential careers. Reasoning 3 This mentorship program should interest Deloitte as it enhances its reputation as a socially driven company. By them mentoring youth of different backgrounds, they will create an inclusive and diverse work environment. Finally, this project helps reinforce Deloitte's role of being a leader in what they do and strengthening their relationships. Connection to Core Competency Our groups personal experience and connection towards Deloitte and handy Inc is. That we can benefit from it in the future. Handy Inc can help our personal experiences as it can help our future grow by helping us with our educational plan and with future career planning. For Deloitte it can help with our personal experience as it will be able to help us financially in the future. Deloitte is all about helping their client so if help is needed in the future then we will be able to find it through Deloitte and Handy Inc.
