Be familiar with the enclosure movement in England and its effects on colonization in the Americas 3. Be familiar with the impact of tobacco on Jamestown’s early growth as a colony 4. Be familiar with the resistance of enslaved people 5. Be familiar with any idea of natural rights that came from the Enlightenment 6. Be familiar with the Mayflower Compact and House of Burgesses, Be able to talk about similarities and differences 7. Be familiar with the Great Awakening 8. Be familiar with why Islam encourages the pursuit of knowledge 9. Be familiar with the process of nuclear fusion and how it produces elements on the periodic table 10.
