SHERIFF’S POLICY MANUAL 3.5 PAY PLAN/PAY PERIODS: A. Pay Plan: 1. Pay plans are salary range schedules providing a minimum and maximum salary range for each existing classification. 2. Pay rates will be adjusted to conform with the salary range for the classification where the position is allocated. 3. Employees receiving a salary in excess of the maximum rate for that classification will receive no further increases. 4. Pay plans and provisions for longevity pay, overtime, education incentive, and other compensation provisions do not apply to classifications subject to bargaining unit agreements unless otherwise provided in the agreement. B. Pay Periods: The payroll will be computed biweekly, with employees receiving a paycheck every two weeks. If a pay day is on a legal holiday, pay checks will be distributed on the preceding workday if possible. C. Payroll Direct Deposit: 1. Employees can enter Direct Deposit information using the PeopleSoft System by utilizing the Employee Self Service. Navigate to myBSO Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > Direct Deposit. If the employee self service is utilized the Direct Deposit Form (BSO A#10) is not required. 2. Paper Direct Deposit form (BSO A#10) will only be accepted from employees via a BSO email address and must be submitted to [email protected] or hand delivered to the Finance Division, NO fax forms will be accepted. Additionally, the form must be completed in its entirety to include the employee’s signature, CCN, and a copy of the required supporting documentation.
