Observe 5S: The classroom must be Clean and Tidy 2. All electronic gadgets must be switched to silent mode and put way inside the bags until end of the class period 3. Stand up and Pray at the beginning and at the end of the class. 4. Proper and Complete Uniform is mandatory 5. Attendance 6. Seat plan : Alphabetical (negotiable) 7. Internet Services ❑The World Wide Web (WWW), or the Web and e-mail are two of the most widely used services on the Internet. ❑Other Internet Services Include: Mailing lists Instant messaging Chat rooms VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Internet Services E-mail (electronic mail) ❑E-mail is the transmission of messages and files via a computer network ❑The mail can be a simple text or can include an attachment such as word processing document, an a graphic, an audio or video clip ❑Just as you address letter using postal system, you address an e-mail message with the email address of your intended recipient. ❑An e-mail address is a combination of a user name and the domain that identifies the user. ❑A user name is a combination of characters, such as letters of the alphabet and /or numbers that identify a specific user ❑In an internet e-mail address, an @ (pronounced at) symbol separates the user name from the domain Mailing Lists ❑An e-mail list is a group of e-mail names and addresses given a single name. When a message is sent to a mail list every person on the list receives a copy of the message in his/her mailbox Internet Services Instant Messaging ❑Instant Messaging (IM) is a real-time Internet communication that notifies you when one or more people are online and allows you to exchange messages or files or join a private chat room with them... ❑Real-time means that you and the people with whom you are conversing are online at the same time... ❑To use IM, you may have to install instant messenger software on your computer device... ❑Some operating systems such as Windows include an instant messenger... ❑To ensure successful communications using IM... ❑Both parties must be online at the same time... ❑The receiver of the message must be willing to accept the messages... ❑All individuals on the contact list need to use the same or compatible instant messenger application... Internet Services Chat Rooms ❑A chat room is a location on the Internet server that permits users to chat with each other... ❑A chat is a real-time typed conversation that takes place on a computer... ❑Some chat rooms support voice and video chats, in which people hear or see each other as they chat... ❑To start a chat session, you connect to the chat server through a program called chat client... ❑Browsers usually include a chat client but if yours does not you can download one from the web and install it...
