Draw in a chess game where nobody ends as a winner. **Pawn promotion**- reaches the last row of your opponent\'s side of the board. **En Passant --**It is a chess rule is a special pawn capturing move. **King** **i**s the most important piece; however it is also considered one of the weakest. The King only moves one square in any direction- up, down, to the sides, and diagonally. The King may never move himself into a check where he could be captured**.** **Queen** is the most powerful piece. It moves in any direction- forward, backward, sideways, or diagonal. As all other pieces, except the knight, it cannot move over any intervening piece. **Rook** may move to any square as far as it wants, but only forward, backward, and to the sides. The rooks are particularly powerful pieces when they are protecting each other and working together **Bishop** may move as far as it wants, but only diagonally. Each bishop starts on one color (light or dark) and must always stay on that color. Bishops work well together because they cover up each other\'s weaknesses. **Knight** moves by going two squares in one direction, and then one more moves just like an L\" shape. Knights are the only pieces that can move over the other pieces. **Pawn** moves forward but capture diagonally. It can never move backwards. On its first move, the pawn can advance two squares at a time. Succeeding moves will be one square at a time. **Benefits of Chess** Most significant advantage of playing chess- Chess involves analyzing various possibilities and outcomes, which enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills. **Negative Effect of board games** Muscle stiffness complains of back pain- impact of prolonged sitting on physical health. **HEALTH** **Disease-**a condition of the living animal or plant body or of one of its parts that impairs normal functioning and is typically manifested by distinguishing signs and symptoms. **Infection** is the attack of an organism\'s body tissues by disease-causing agents, their multiplication, and the reaction of host tissues to the infectious agents and the toxins they produce. **Two Types of Disease** **Communicable Diseases** It is a disease is one that is spread from one person to another through a variety of ways that include: contact with blood and bodily fluids; breathing in an airborne virus; or by being bitten by an insect. **Non-Communicable Disease** It is a disease that is not spread through infection or through other people but is typically caused by unhealthy behaviors. **Pathogens** tiny microorganism that causes of infection and diseases. **Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi, Rickettsia, Protozoa,** **Parasitic Worms** Bacteria It is one-celled microscopic organisms that rank among the most widespread of living things. Virus It is a small, simple life-like forms from one-half to 100 the size of a bacteria. These organisms are the human body's worst enemies. **Mortality** measures the incident of **deaths** within a population, **Morbidity** measures the number or evaluates the prevalence and **impact of diseases and injuries** **Age** is the main reason why people die or getting sick. **Stages of Infection** 1. **Incubation-** It is the time between the entry of an infectious agent in the host of beginning symptoms. 2. **Prodromal-** It is the time the beginning of non-specific symptoms until specific symptoms begin to manifest. 3. **Acute** It is the time when the disease is at its highest point that the symptoms can clinically tested to diagnose the disease. 4. **Declining**-It is the time when the symptoms begin to subside, and the patient feels improvement but still cannot return to doing normal activities. 5. **Recovery**- It is the start from the beginning of the disappearance of acute symptoms until the patient returns to the previous state of health. **Prevention** **Primary Prevention** is an activity are done to prevent one from having the disease. This includes getting immunized, eating a healthy diet, and getting enough sleep. **Secondary Prevention.** \- Activities are done to prevent further damage when the disease has already started. This includes prompt diagnosis and treatment **Tertiary Prevention** It the focus is on rehabilitating the sick person to prevent long-term complications of the disease.  ![](media/image4.png) **Self-monitoring practices** -monitors her body temperature daily using a thermometer and \- medical attention promptly if she experiences symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. **Demonstrate self-monitoring skills** health for any symptoms after the event and seeking medical advice if necessary. **Prevention of colds-** always washes her hands with soap and water to avoid herself from diseases. **Prevention of Athlete's Foot-** doesn't share his personal items such as socks and shoes. **Prevention the risk of acquiring parasitic worms**- needs to wash his hands after going to the bathroom and before and after eating. **Prevention of Leptospirosis**- avoid his wounded foot getting in contact with contaminated water.
