**MUSIC** MODERNISM IN MUSIC (ELECTRONIC & CHANCE MUSIC) - ***[Modernism]*** in music is another ***[avant-garde]*** (unusual/experimental) movement in music. Sounds from your surroundings, such as car horns, water droplets, and glass clinking, are the major examples of modernist music. - ***[Electronic Music]*** involves sounds that are created electronically. Music that is produced or controlled through electronic instruments such as electric guitars, keyboards, or synthesizer is still electronic music. - ***[Chance Music]*** also known as "***[aleatory music]***" uses music elements that are left to chance or boundless possibilities and left for the performer to realize. Its unpredictability like a random selection of pitches and rhythms. **ARTS** CUBISM, DADAISM, & SURREALISM - ***[Cubism]*** uses geometric patterns such as cylinder, cone, square, and triangle to form the subject matter of the painting. Pablo Picasso and George Braque are the prominent painters of Cubism. - ***[Dadaism]*** artworks that had obscene humor and visible puns. It is used to mock or provoke people that supports chaotic events. To some, this art is nonsense since they're adding things that are irrelevant to the existing art. - ***[Surrealism]*** shows the images of the subconscious mind. Surrealists wanted to tap into a "***[higher reality]***" than what the eye see in the real world. Salvador Dali is the most versatile artist of surrealism. ABSTRACT REALISM, OPTICAL ART, POPULAR ART & PERFORMANCE ART - ***[Abstract realism]*** it's a combination of two contradicting art movement "abstract & realism" - ***[Optical art]*** or Optical Illusion uses physical sensations. Its artists create and organize lines, patterns, and designs that sharpen the viewer's eye perception. ***[Victor Vasarely]*** was one of the key figures of this art form. - ***[Popular art]*** is an art style of the popular culture. Their subject is the most popular celebrity, brand, or anything that is in or trending from that time. ***[Richard Hamilton]*** described pop art as designed for a mass audience. - ***[Performance art]*** (happenings, installation, & art mob) - ***[Happenings]*** are interactive, participatory, and experimental. Performance produced art to jolt into awareness of the traditional art of the time: no script and expectations. - ***[Installation]*** a kind of art where a space is presented as an artwork that can be experience, entered, explored, and reflected upon. - ***[Art mob]*** its an extension of performance art and became more popular with its eclectic combination if art and showmanship, sometimes in equal parts, kitsch, and comedy. - **PHYSICAL EDUCATION** MODERATE TO VIGOROUS PHYSICAL ACTIVITY - It is important to promote regular physical activities among adolescents for lifelong health and fitness. The adolescents will be the adults in the next generation. Being physically active at a young age will help them to prevent the risk factors of various health problems. - ***[Moderate-intensity physical activity]*** will make your heartbeat faster and your breathing harder than a normal condition. - ***[Vigorous-intensity activity]*** is a physical activity where you put a lot of effort into what you are doing. Heart beats are much faster and breathes much harder than normal. - ***[Maximum heart rate]*** is the estimated highest limit of what your cardiovascular system could manage during physical activity based on your age. - ***[Low intensity]*** you can use this level when you do your warm up routine before the exercise proper. - ***[Moderate intensity]*** you can fell this intensity when you are already in your workout or exercise proper. It is where most of your workouts will fall. - ***[High intensity]*** you can do this level in a short period of time. These are the physical activities at the vigorous-intensity level. - ***[Talk test]*** is another simplest way to monitor the intensity level of your exercise. - When you can talk effortlessly while doing physical activity, this means that you are working below your target heart rate zone. - If you can't initiate a conversation because it is difficult for you to talk while doing your physical activity or exercise, this means that you are working above your target heart rate zone. - ***[Tabata]*** is a kind of HITT that is composed of eight different sets of fast paced exercises. **HEALTH** CONSUMER WELFARE AND PROTECTION - ***[Right to be safe]*** the products or services must not harm you. - ***[Right to choose freely]*** you should have a variety of options to choose from. - ***[Right to be informed]*** products and services should provide complete information. - ***[Right to heard]*** you can give feedback or make a complaint if you are not satisfied with their product/services. - ***[Right to service]*** you should be treated with courtesy and respect. - ***[Right to education]*** you should have access to programs and information that will help you become a better consumer.
