The couple was very worried and decided to pray to the Santo Niño, asking for help to find their beloved animal. As they were about to pray, they noticed that their Santo Niño statue had disappeared. This made them even more anxious. They prayed anyway, hoping for a miracle. The next day, when they woke up, they were surprised to see their carabao outside their house! They couldn't believe their eyes. But there was something strange about how it returned. A neighbor saw the carabao passing by with a young boy riding on its back. This boy looked very much like the Santo Niño! When the couple looked at their Santo Niño statue again, they found it back in its place, and there was an amorseco (a type of sweet treat) on it.
