B Pressure gauge – It’s a measuring instrument that indicates the water pressure in a system? Automatic pressure switch - It works by turning a well pump on when the system's pressure decreases to the cut-on point and switching it off when the pressure increases to the cut-off point Bladder type pressure tank It is a type of tank containing pressurized air and water separated by a Conventional membrane (bladder) and pre-charged pressure tank with air at the factory. How does a Bladder type pressure tank work? RANGE BOILER - A range Fig. A. Fig. B. boiler is an older type of domestic hot water heater which uses a separate hot water tank which is connected to a heating boiler as well as to domestic hot water piping in the home. Range boilers can provide a large volume of hot water, depending on the tank size. But they have a slow recovery rate once the hot water from the range boiler tank has been consumed. In their earliest use range boilers were heated by a coal or wood stove as in fig. A. In a later design range boilers may have included their own little gas or coal heater as we show in fig. B. STORAGE BOILER - That means, it produces both hot water for heating the housing, but also directly domestic hot water. The term ‘’storage’’ means that the boiler got a hot water tank to store a reserve. Thanks to it the hot water can be available immediately when needed. A. B. Gate valve (full-way valve) - is generally used to completely shut off fluid flow or, in the fully open position, provide full flow in a pipeline. Thus it is used either in the fully closed or fully open positions. A gate valve consists of a valve body, seat and disc, a spindle, gland, and a wheel for operating the valve. A. Wedge shape or tapered disc valve B. Double disc valve C. A. B. C. A. A. A. B. A. B.. D. C. The sole purpose of a corporation stop is to allow for the installation of a new water service line without interrupting the water main pressure. Curb stop - This valve is usually operated by a wrench or valve key and is used to start or stop flows in the water service line to a building Meter stop – a valve that is attached directly to the water meter and normally on the inlet side of the meter. Curb box - accesses the curb stop of a service line and is typically installed behind the curb line of a street? In summary, while drum traps were once a common type of plumbing trap used in residential plumbing systems, modern codes have deemed them to be outdated and problematic due to their tendency to become clogged and corrode over time.
