AP Psychology Unit Vocabulary Unit 2: Cognition Submit handwritten cards in a rubber band You will complete 50 HANDWRITTEN vocabulary flashcards. Students will select and create 50 physical (index) flashcards from the list provided to include definitions and applications. The bolded terms are required. Five applications will be provided as a model, but the student will come up with the applications for the remaining terms/concepts. All definitions should be specific to the field of psychology. This is a rehearse grade. Failure to follow the guidelines/model will result in a loss of 10%. Failure to include title card results in loss of 5%. You may use online and print resources to help you complete this assignment. The textbook should be your primary source. Applications are more than “just an example.” Rationale: AP Psychology is a vocabulary-rich course and the application of these terms will be useful when taking the AP Psychology Exam. Additionally, students have traditionally struggled with making a distinction between an example and an application; these models prepare students for writing and recognizing applications of psychological concepts.
