    Study Notes

    PreScreen Interview Process

    • RSC Austria conducts an in-person Introductory Meeting (for cases in Central Israel) or a phone briefing (for cases outside Central Israel or with special circumstances) to prepare applicants for the PreScreen Interview.
    • The Intro Meeting includes an introduction to case processing procedures and provides each case with a blank Biodata Form for the applicant to complete before the Interview appointment with the RSC caseworker.

    Scheduling PreScreen Interviews

    • Schedule cases for PreScreen Interviews considering the following:
      • Case Creation Date or Received Date
      • Urgency Level

    • Prioritize cases with higher urgency (Level 1 or Level 2) and P-4 cases
    • Create a PreScreen calendar, considering upcoming staff leaves and QC days, and a matrix mentioning the number of slots and appointment times based on the PreScreen calendar

    Conducting PreScreen Interviews

    • The RSC will greet applicants with a standard welcome speech and confirm that they received and read the Notice of Confidentiality.
    • If the applicant did not receive the NoC or received it but had not read it, the RSC caseworker will review the NoC with the applicant over the phone.
    • The RSC will ensure that all applicants are available and in a private space, and speak to all applicants on the case ages 13 and over.
    • The RSC will verify the applicant's identity with biographical information.
