Inactivation/Reactivation/Closure Process for Pre-USCIS Cases
- Cases closed before completing USCIS interviews are referred to as 'Pre-DHS Close.'

- Inactive case availability is the first part of the case closure process in START.
- Inactive cases allow for a 6-month period for RRE, RFR, or I-602 Waiver process.
