No. HQ-C11020/9/2023-C1/1 (E-7793) STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION ***** Subject: Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examination of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination-2023 for short-listing candidates to appear in Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)/Document Verification (DV). The Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination (CBE) for recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination-2023 from 14.11.2023 to 03.12.2023. Re-examination of 5120 candidates was also done and those candidates, who did not appear in the re-examination, have been treated as ‘Absent’. 2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per the provisions under Para 12.2 of the Notice of Examination. Such normalized marks have been used for processing the CBE result. 3. As per the provisions in Para 16.4 of the Notice of Examination, minimum qualifying marks (normalized) in Computer Based Examination have been fixed as follows: a. UR - 35 b. SC/ST/OBC/EWS - 30 c. Ex-Servicemen (ESM) – 25 4. As per Note (i) of Para 7.7 and Para 7.8 of Notice of the Examination, the benefit of bonus marks to NCC Certificate and RRU Degree holders will only be given on production of the original certificates supporting their claims at the time of PE&MT/DV. Therefore, bonus marks have not been awarded to the candidates at this stage. 5. As per the provisions under Para 17 of the Notice of the Examination, in the event of tie in scores of candidates, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after another in the given order till the tie is resolved: - i. Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination. ii. Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination. iii. Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher. iv. Alphabetical order of the names of candidates. 8. Result in respect of 182 candidates have been kept as withheld due to the suspected malpractices for further scrutiny, as per List-III. 10. Shortlisted candidates will be called for PE&MT/DV which shall be conducted by the Delhi Police. The schedule of PE&MT/DV shall be communicated by the Delhi Police in due course. Candidates are advised to follow the website of Delhi Police (i.e. https://delhipolice.gov.in/) for further updates regarding the PE&MT/DV. 11. Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary. The Final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation. 12. The Final Answer Keys as well as the marks of the shortlisted/ not-shortlisted candidates in respect of the Computer Based Examination will be made available on the website of the Commission in due course.
