Demonstrate understanding of a subject COMPONENTS OF AN ACADEMIC TEXT 1. Purpose – reason for communication. 2. Writer – expected results of a work reflect on their position i.e, students, and experts. 3. Target Audience – same description on the Writer. 4. Style - refers to how a text is written.
