Tom is a helpful member of his community, and he volunteers at the local library every week. He organizes books, helps visitors find what they need, and explains how to use the computer systems. Today, he is working on a special project for the library. Right now, he is sorting a box of new books that arrived this morning. Some of the books are about history, while others are exciting mystery novels. As Tom works, his colleague is checking the computer system to make sure everything is updated. In another part of the library, a group of students is preparing for an upcoming presentation. They meet here every Saturday to share ideas and practice together. One of the students always leads the discussion while the others take notes and ask questions. Today, they are working on a project about environmental conservation, which is an important topic for their class. Tom enjoys volunteering because it gives him a chance to meet new people and learn new things.
