TOUR AND TRAVEL NOTES Travel Agency -is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Thomas Cook - was an English innovator of the conducted tour and founder of Thomas Cook and Son, a worldwide travel agency. Cook can be said to have invented modern tourism. They connect providers accross the travel industry to help travellers easily plan their trips. Offline Travel Agency →Travel agencies including corporate travel departments, who operate from “brick and mortar” offices.
