“SOP” zxcvbn TRIAL PRESSURE DROP TESTING TO EXPANSION TANK CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM Compressor operations STEPS TO BE DONE AT COMPRESSOR HOUSE. 1) Connect the hoses cooling tower number 03 and 05 for energizing the all closed loop system by opening the potable water manifold side ball valve. 2) After all connection done closed the both ball valve these valve located on cooling tower inlet water line, closed all cooling tower 01 to 07 valves. 3) After all valve 01-07 closed instantly opening the potable water side ball valve for energizing the all closed loop system. 4) Select compressor 08 for trial test (test will be perform at compressor stop condition) 5) Select manual mode compressor # 08 expansion tank make-up valve, make sure select only make-valve on manual mode. Not compressor. 6) Allow to drain water from compressor side ball valve up to 48%, once it will reached 48% low level alarm event will be popup. STEPS TO BE DONE BY SCADA HMI CONTROL ROOM. 1) After above all step done. 2) Make sure cooling tower on running state and compressor start stop screen should be on green state. 3) Return back to make-up valve on auto mode, after change selection instantly valve open. 4) Therefore, keeping watch closely until make-up valve is opening to fill expansion tank and closed 5) Measure the time period it might be same as process water filling time period and pressure. 6) After Make-up valve open and expansion tank fill within the time limit its means. TRIAL TEST COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY. (Set point expansion tank make-up valve open-closed) ≤ Less than 60% solenoid valve open ≥ Greater than 65% solenoid valve closed. IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE: Trial pressure drop test carry out once all open loop and closed loop system will be energized by potable water line. 1) All cooling tower basin tanks filling by potable water line. 2) All closed loop system energizes. 3) All leak has been repaired make sure no leak at anywhere. 4) After all system energized note down readings. 5) Pressure gauge reading potable water side. 6) Pressure gauge reading cooling tower # 3 side. 7) Pressure gauge reading cooling tower # 3 side.. 8) Check flow rate all individually cooling tower side.
