Sovereignty- It is the most exclusive elements of State. Without sovereignty no state can exist. State has the exclusive title and prerogative to exercise supreme power over all its people and territory. It is the basis which the State regulates all aspects of the life of the people living in its territory. FORMS OF STATES: A. Authoritarian Government B. Oligarchic Government C. Democratic Government An authoritarian government is a political system in which a single authority or a small group of people holds significant power, often without being accountable to the public. This type of government usually limits personal freedoms, suppresses political opposition, and controls many aspects of society, including the media, judiciary, and sometimes even the economy. China: The Chinese government, led by the Communist Party, exercises tight control over political, social, and economic life, restricting freedom of speech, internet access, and political dissent. Russia: Under President Vladimir Putin, Russia has increased restrictions on political opposition, the press, and civil society, often suppressing dissent and controlling much of the media. North Korea: Known as one of the most authoritarian states in the world, North Korea's government, led by Kim Jong-un, enforces extreme control over its population, with no political opposition and strict state control of media and daily life. Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy where political dissent is minimal, and power is concentrated within the royal family. Freedom of expression and assembly are highly restricted. An oligarchic government, or oligarchy, is a form of government in which power is held by a small group of individuals or a specific class, often for their own benefit. Unlike democracies, where power is distributed broadly among citizens, or monarchies, where a single ruler holds supreme authority, oligarchies concentrate control in the hands of a few people, typically those with wealth, family ties, military influence, or political connections.
