Aim - To encourage women to start micro-enterprises. Women would be provided skill training so that they can earn over Rs 1 lakh per year. Cannabis Medicine Project: Jammu to pioneer India's first Cannabis Medicine Project. Initiative of - CSIR- Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine Jammu. Location - Chatha, Jammu. To treat patients suffering from neuropathies, cancer and epilepsy. Aswasanidhi project: Initiated by: the Women and Child Development department. Aim: To provided financial relief nearly 1,400 victims of sex crimes and severe gender-based violence since its inception in 2018. PM Vishwakarma Yojana: It is a central sector scheme. i.e., fully funded by the Union Government. Aim: To provide financial assistance, training, and welfare support to workers in various sectors. In the first phase, workers will receive a loan of one lakh rupees at a five percent interest rate, followed by two lakh rupees in the second phase Jammu and Kashmir became the first Union Territory to implement the PM Vishwakarma Yojana (PMVY), aiding the craftsman community Ministry of Agriculture Launches AI Chatbot for PM-KISAN Scheme: Developed in collaboration with the EkStep Foundation and Bhashini, organizations. PM KISAN: is an initiative by the government of India that give farmers up to ₹6,000 per year as minimum income support Mukhya Mantri Shramik Kalyan Yojana (MMSKY): Launched by: the Arunachal Pradesh government to enhance the welfare of the state’s labour force. Under the scheme, benefits such as maternity benefits, natural death compensation, accidental funeral assistance, medical assistance, and more have been significantly increased. Uttar Pradesh’s ‘Paying Guest’ Scheme to Promote Tourism in Ayodhya: The Uttar Pradesh government is transforming Ayodhya under its ‘Navya Ayodhya’ project. Within this, the state tourism department’s Paying Guest scheme aims to upgrade accommodation and cuisine experiences for visitors. PM Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN): Aim: To provide basic facilities to PVTG households, including safe housing, clean drinking water, sanitation, improved education, health and nutrition, road and telecom connectivity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. An allocation of Rs.15,000 crore has been set aside for the next three years under the Development Action Plan for the Scheduled Tribes (DAPST) to implement this mission. PM Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas- 15 November Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana: Aim: To rapidly expand rooftop solar capacity by installing solar power systems on one crore houses. It will provide incentives and financial assistance to make it affordable for residential consumers to adopt rooftop solar. It will also support India’s ambitious goal of reaching 500GW of renewable energy by 2030 NAMASTE Scheme: The National Action for Mechanized Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE) Scheme, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Aim: To eliminate the hazardous practice of manual sewer and septic tank cleaning. “Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain” campaign: The campaign, themed “Nari Shakti se Jal Shakti,” highlights the crucial role of women in water conservation and management. Jal Diwali -"Women for Water, Water for Women Campaign Mission Karmayogi Aims to Transform India’s Civil Services by 2047: Aims to make India’s civil workers much better at what they do. Mission Karmayogi aims to create a system that is focused on the needs of citizens, ready for the future, and focused on results by making all levels of government more efficient. NITI Aayog Launches Hackathon for Zero-Emission Trucks: The NITI GearShift Challenge was started by NITI Aayog and several well-known schools and groups. This project is part of the larger e-FAST India program, which aims to get more zero-emission trucks (ZETs) used in India. National Apprenticeship and Training Scheme (NATS) 2.0 Portal: This new initiative is part of the government’s effort to improve the skills and job prospects of young people in fields like IT, manufacturing, and automobiles. Rs 100 crore in stipends for apprentices One District One Product: It is an initiative launched with the aim of unlocking the full potential of districts, fostering economic and socio-cultural growth, and generating employment, particularly in rural areas. Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It is a centrally sponsored scheme shared by the Centre and states Objective: To transform each district in India into an export hub by promoting its specialized products. KILKAARI YOJANA: The Kilkari program is a mobile-based service as a part of its Digital India initiative for new and expectant mothers to encourage them to make healthier choices for their newborn care by delivering messages about pregnancy, childbirth and childcare directly to the beneficiaries. It is an audio-based service and hence overcomes the literacy challenges of rural India. Adopt a Heritage 2.0 program: ❖ Launched by - Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). ❖ Aim to invite corporate stakeholders to enhance the amenities at the monuments by utilizing their CSR funds. ❖ ASI has 3696 monuments under protection. ❖ Under - Ministry of Culture. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana A Central Sector Sub-scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Aim: To formalizing the fisheries sector and supporting fisheries by providing credit to micro and small enterprises. Aim: a) for youth development and youth-led development b) provide equitable access to youth to actualize their aspirations and build Viksit Bharat. c) Youth community to act as the Yuva Setu (bridge) between the Government and the citizens. MISHTI YOJANA: MoEFCC Mangrove Initiative for shoreline habitats & tangible Income To preserve mangrove forests in the coastal regions of India. Ayurveda Gyan Naipunya Initiative (AGNI): Launched by Central Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences (CCRAS). AGNI aims to promote research for mainstreaming pragmatic Ayurveda practices through scientific validation and evidence-based appraisal. It will provide a platform to Ayurveda practitioners for reporting their innovative practices and experiences in various disease conditions. PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI): By Ministry of Education. Target - to develop more than 14,500 schools across India by strengthening select existing schools. Objective providing high-quality education and making children active participants as per the vision of NEP 2020. 'One nation, One Student ID' initiative: A new student identity card known as the Automated Permanent Academic Registry (APAAR) is being created. APAAR is a special ID system for all students in India, starting from childhood. Each student would get a lifelong APAAR ID, making it easy for the learners, schools, and governments to track academic progress from pre-primary education to higher education. It will store all their certificates and credits, whether they come from formal education or informal learning. This is part of the 'One Nation, One Student ID' initiative, stemming from the new National Education Policy of 2020. Nano-fertiliser Subsidy Scheme: Ministry of Cooperation 50% financial assistance for purchase of nano fertilisers RAMP Programme: The Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) program is a partnership between the Government of India and the World Bank to improve the access of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to finance, technology, and markets. The program is being implemented from 2022-23 to 2026-27. MSME GIFT Scheme: intends to help MSMEs adopt green technology with interest subvention and credit guarantee support. MSE SPICE Scheme: The MSE Scheme for Promotion and Investment in Circular Economy. MSE ODR Scheme: The MSE Scheme on Online. Dispute Resolution for Delayed Payments. MAHIR MISSION: MoP & MNRE To facilitate indigenous R&D in power sector. E-KISAN UPAJ NIDHI: Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution launched ‘e- Kisan Upaj Nidhi’ e-Kisan Upaj Nidhi is a Digital Gateway initiative of Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA). Aim- to facilitate farmers in obtaining post-harvest loans from banks against their stocks stored in the WDRA registered warehouses. HARIT NAUKA INITIATIVE: Launched by: the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Aim- laying out Central Government’s focus on bringing about the shift of inland vessels to greener technologies. SWAYAM PLUS PLATFORM: Launched by: Ministry of Education In alignment with NEP 2020, the SWAYAM Plus platform will now include courses supporting industry needs that enhance learners’ employability. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) will be operating the ‘SWAYAM Plus’s Platform. NITI Aayog launched GROW Initiative for Agroforestry in Wastelands: Aims to transform India's wastelands through agroforestry, using remote sensing and GIS technologies to identify suitable areas. The GROW report and portal provide state & district-wise data on agroforestry potential, including Agroforestry Suitability Index (ASI) for prioritization. Agroforestry has the potential to reduce wood imports, mitigate climate change. ‘SWATI’ (Science for Women-A Technology & Innovation) Portal launched: It aims to empower Indian women and girls in STEMM fields. It promotes gender equality, inclusivity, and scientific advancement for women. It is a single online portal representing Indian Women and Girls in STEMM. Govt’s launches "NHCX Portal" for Faster Health Claims: National Health Claim Exchange is a digital health claims platform developed by the National Health Authority to ensure the faster processing of health insurance claims. The claim exchange has been developed as part of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Cabinet approved “National Forensic Infrastructure Enhancement Scheme”: The Union Cabinet approved the National Forensic Infrastructure Enhancement Scheme (NFIES) to boost forensic infrastructure. Key components include establishing new campuses for the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), setting up new Central Forensic Science Laboratories etc Haryana govt removed age limit on scheme for farmers, farm labourers: Haryana government removed age limits for 'Mukhyamantri Kisan Evam Khetihar Mazdoor Jeevan Suraksha Yojana.' This scheme offers financial aid for death/disability incidents involving agricultural machinery. Now it is inclusive for individuals younger than 10 and older than 65, expanding beneficiary coverage. Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN Yojana to Boost Biofuel Sector: The timeline for implementing the Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN Yojana has been extended by five years, up to 2028-29. Pradhan Mantri JI-VAN (Jaiv Indhan- Vatavaran Anukool fasal awashesh Nivaran) Yojana aims to provide financial support to Integrated Bioethanol Projects using lignocellulosic biomass and other renewable feedstock Cabinet approved Unified 'Vigyan Dhara' Science Scheme: The Cabinet has approved the 'Vigyan Dhara' scheme, merging 3 existing schemes to enhance capacity building, research, and innovation The scheme aims to strengthen infrastructure, support basic and translational research, and promote international collaboration. Scholarships to Children released under CIL ASHIS Scheme: Coal India Limited launched a noble Corporate Social Responsibility initiative- CIL ASHIS (Ayushman Shiksha Sahayata) to provide scholarships to 1645 children who lost their parents to covid & were unable to continue their studies further. Under this, a scholarship worth Rs 45,000 per child per year will be given to eligible children for a period of 4 years to enable them to complete studies. Poshan 2.0: Ministry for Women and Child Development inaugurated Poshan 2.0 and urged all Aspirational Districts to establish a Poshan Vatika (nutrition garden) during the Nutrition Month (Poshan Mah) from 1st September. It is an umbrella scheme covering the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) (Anganwadi Services, Poshan Abhiyan, Scheme For Adolescent Girls, National Creche Scheme). Digital Agriculture Mission: It aims to nurture agri-tech start-ups by harnessing cutting-edge advancements in cloud computing, earth observation, remote sensing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning models. It is conceived as an umbrella scheme to support digital agriculture initiatives. e-Shram Portal: It is a “One-Stop-Solution” for Unorganised Workers of the country. It was launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment in 2021 for registration and creation of a comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers. It allows an unorganised worker to register himself or herself on the portal on self-declaration basis, under 400 occupations in 30 broad occupation sectors. AgriSURE Fund Empowers Startups Supporting Indian Farmers: The Indian government has launched the AgriSURE Scheme, an important initiative designed to support agricultural start-ups and rural businesses. The AgriSURE Fund, also known as the Agri Fund for Start-ups & Rural Enterprises, is a special fund of ₹750 crore. It brings together money from the Indian government, NABARD , banks, insurance companies, and private investors. The main aim of the AgriSURE Fund is to help farmers by introducing new technology and innovative solutions. National Mission on Edible Oils – Oilseeds (NMEO-Oilseeds): To increase oilseed production from 39 mt to 69.7 mt by 2030-31. Target to increase total domestic edible oil production for meeting 72% of projected domestic demand. The mission aims to increase oilseed cultivation by an additional 40 lakh hectares. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY): It was introduced by the government in 2019 with the goal of providing social security to Small and Marginal Farmers in their old age. In accordance with this programme PM-KMY is upon reaching the age of 60, small and marginal farmers are given a minimum fixed pension of Rs. 3,000/-, subject to specific exclusion conditions. It is a contributing, voluntary pension. Depending on the entry age, the eligible farmer must contribute between Rs. 55 and Rs. 200 per month to a pension fund. Additionally, the Central Government makes an equivalent contribution to the Pension Fund. Cabinet approved 'Mission Mausam' : to enhance weather and climate science in India. The initiative will focus on advanced weather surveillance, modelling, and forecasting using next-gen radars, satellites, and supercomputers. Ayushman Bharat Expanded Coverage: This expansion now includes all Indians aged 70 and older, regardless of their income. Launched in 2018, it is a cashless health insurance scheme. It provides ₹5 lakh per family per year for healthcare. It covers hospital treatments for over 10 crore families, which equals about 50 crore (500 million) people. White Revolution 2.0: “White Revolution 2.0” to further strengthen India’s dairy sector. The primary goal of White Revolution 2.0 is to increase milk collection across the country by 50% over the next five years. To increase coverage, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) plans to set up 56,000 new cooperative societies and improve 46,000 existing ones over the next five years. SPICED Scheme: It stands for ‘Sustainability in spice sector through progressive, innovative and collaborative interventions for export development’ (SPICED) scheme. Launched by Spices Board of India. It is aimed at significantly enhancing the export of spices and value- added spice products as well as improving the productivity of cardamoms and upgrading the post-harvest quality of spices across India for export. Ministry of Tourism launched Paryatan Mitra & Paryatan Didi Initiative: On World Tourism Day, the Ministry of Tourism launched Paryatan Mitra and Paryatan Didi, a national responsible tourism initiative focused on social inclusion, employment, and economic progress. the initiative provides training for locals such as cab drivers, hotel staff, and vendors to become Ambassadors and Storytellers, enhancing tourist experiences. SARTHIE 1.0 Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, and the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) launched the SARTHIE 1.0. It is an initiative intended to empower disadvantaged communities, including Scheduled Castes (SCs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Senior Citizens, Transgender Persons, Victims of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, persons engaged in the act of Begging, Denotified and Nomadic Tribes, and more. PM Internship Scheme: Aim: The scheme aims to provide internship opportunities to one crore youth over five years, in the top 500 companies. A monthly stipend of ₹4,500 will be provided to the interns from the central government via DBT (Direct Benefit transfer), with an additional ₹500 offset provided by the company’s CSR fund. Eligibility – 21-24 years, those who have passed class 10 or higher. Cabinet Approves Continuation of Fortified Rice Supply Until 2028: The initiative, funded 100% by the Government of India, aims to address anaemia and micronutrient deficiencies through rice fortification. Anaemia and micronutrient deficiencies remain significant health issues, as highlighted by NFHS-5. Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana: The Union Health Ministry has doubled the monthly nutrition support under Nikshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) for tuberculosis (TB) patients under treatment from ₹500 to ₹1,000. Additionally, all household contacts of TB patients will be covered under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (PMTBMBA) and will be eligible to receive social support from the community. India has set the target of 2025 for Tuberculosis Elimination. SAMARTH Scheme: Central government has extended the Samarth Scheme for 2 years to train 3 lakh persons in textile-related skills. The Scheme for Capacity Building in Textiles Sector (SAMARTH) is a demand-driven and placement-oriented umbrella skilling program UDAN Scheme Extended for 10 More Years: The UDAN scheme, launched in 2016 to boost regional air connectivity, is extended for 10 more years. 601 routes and 71 airports have been operationalised under the regional air connectivity scheme. Mudra loan limit doubled to Rs 20 lakh in Budget FY25: A new "Tarun Plus" category covers loans above Rs 10 lakh up to Rs 20 lakh for entrepreneurs with prior loan repayment under the Tarun category. PM-YASASVI Scheme: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has implemented the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI). It is a comprehensive umbrella scheme aimed at uplifting students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and Denotified Tribes (DNT) by providing them with access to quality education during their formative years. Pre-Matric Scholarship from Class 9 to 10 and Post Matric Scholarship for their higher studies at post-matriculation stage. Family income below Rs. 2.5 lakh. Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) A Central Sponsored Scheme is being implemented for holistic growth of the horticulture sector. It promotes the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, root and tuber crops, mushrooms, spices, flowers, aromatic plants, coconut, cashew, cocoa and bamboo. Namo Drone Didi Scheme for Women SHGs Launched: The Indian Government has launched the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme. This initiative aims to empower Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) by providing drones. The scheme is part of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). The goal is to support farmers by offering drone rental services for agricultural tasks. The government will provide 80% financial assistance for the purchase of drones. The maximum subsidy is set at ₹8.0 lakhs. Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0: This initiative aims to digitally empower pensioners. The Digital Life Certificate, also known as Jeevan Praman, is a digital document that verifies the life status of pensioners. It was first introduced in 2014 as a part of the government’s efforts to streamline pension services. PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme for Education Funding: It is a Central Sector Scheme. with a budget of Rs 3,600 crore over five years, starting from the fiscal year 2024-25. It targets meritorious students in both private and public Quality Higher Education Institutions (QHEIs). Students from families with an annual income of up to Rs 8 lakh can benefit from the scheme. They will receive a 3% interest subvention on education loans up to Rs 10 lakh without Collateral. ASMITA PROJECT: Ministry of Education Aim: To produce 22000 books in 22 languages within 5 years. PM PRANAM Scheme: To reduce the use of chemical fertilisers and encourage its balanced use with organic fertilisers.
