Don’t copy unneeded people in the email(cc) Subject: make sure it’s clear and compelling Salutations: Dear teacher, Body paragraph: cut to the point, be specific and provide context, set the right tone of voice, write notes if needed(key bullet points) MEMOS Address who you’re writing to Write who you want to take action/responsible CC the people who need to be informed Write the title of the memo in the center IN CAPS Make the structure obvious and clear 5 ws: Where, Why, When, What time, What to bring End the memo with a call to action when informing someone to do an action.
