**REVIEWER EAPP 2^ND^ QUARTER** **Sociological** Focuses on man's relationship to others in society, politics, religion, and business. **Reader-Response** It attempts "to describe what happens in the reader's mind while interpreting a text" and reflects that reading, like writing, is a creative process. "We use a variety of critical approaches mainly to reveal how and why a particular work is constructed and what its social and cultural implications are." **Historical approach** this approach "seeks to understand a literary work by investigating the social, cultural, and intellectual context that produced it---a context that necessarily includes the artist's biography and milieu." A key goal for historical critics is to understand the effect of a literary work upon its original readers.**\ Lists of Figures** It is chronological list of tables, charts, maps and other graphic aids, with corresponding pages. **Glossary** It is an alphabetical list of technical terms and their corresponding meanings. **Index** It is an alphabetical list of topics discussed in the report with corresponding pages. **Informal Report** functions to inform, analyze, and recommend. It usually takes the form of memo, letter or a very short international document like a monthly financial report, monthly activities report, research and development report. **Formal Report** is the collection and interpretation of data and information. The formal report is complex and used at an official level, it is often a written account of a major project. **Persuasive Writing** is a short-length composition in which you compel the audience to share your viewpoint by presenting convincing evidence and a clear explanation that effectively supports your position. **Argumentative essay** is a genre of writing that requires investigating a topic; collect, generate, and evaluate evidence; and establish a position on the topic in a concise manner. Mission Statement Outline of proposed Methods & Potential Impact **Methodology** this are the strategies you will use to collect data. **Support** this section should explain the overall cost and break down into individual expenses so readers can see exactly how the money will be spent. **Introduction outlining problem & gaps in knowledge** provides an overview of your research project. **Explication** It is a method of explanation in which sentences; verses, quotes, or phrases are taken from a literary or academic work then interpreted and explained in a detailed way. **Informal Definition** It gives a literal meaning. **Formal definition** giving term to be defined, the category, and the quality that makes the term different from other terms in the same category. **Extended definition** It is a detailed way of defining a term and is usually a one paragraph. It incorporates various patterns of formal, informal, comparison and contrasts, narration, description, classification, cause and effect to explain a concept. **Clarification** It is a method of explanation in which the points are organized from a general abstract idea to specific and concrete examples. **Description** describes the size, general shapes, color, texture of surface, and context of the painting critiquing. **Critical Evaluation** deconstructs and identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the novel. **Conclusion** this part restates the main points, then summarizes the arguments made in the paper and then provides a call of action or recommendation. **Understanding the task** while reading, make notes and underlines the essential points of the work. **Outline of proposed Methods & Potential Impact** this includes the steps in writing a concept you will use. **TechVoc concept paper** It is to find out the benefits gained after graduating from one of its courses, to determine how it helped in the development of their career, and to find out what is their current mindset about it. **Science concept paper** project that focuses on developing sustainable energy solutions.
