Factors to be considered in determining the assignment and utilization of a new employee INTRODUCTION PLACEMENT OF EMPLOYEE IS CRITICAL It determines to a certain extent the employee’s motivation and ability to perform well A wrongly placed employee may not develop the appropriate abilities and skills and may not have the proper motivation PLACEMENT AND UTILIZATION THE PROCESS OF PLACEMENT AND UTILIZATION  Starts when the applicant accepted the offer of the organization  It involves the determination of the specific department, division, unit or section where the person is to be assigned THE PROCESS OF PLACEMENT AND UTILIZATION  First, the Department or section in which has requisitioned a new employee should be given the priority in the assignment.  In other words, the new employee should be assign to the requisitioning department or unit.
