Develop a disaster preparedness plan at home or school CLED ⚫ 4. Discuss how the church community prepares for and responds to calamities. ⚫ 5 Identify church-based or school-based preparedness programs that have been specifically developed and are in operation. ⚫ 6 Explain the Church’s role in fostering preparedness and resilience in individuals during times of crisis. Is there any help you can offer to the victims of calamities? ⚫ During natural disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, or wildfires, the loss of life can be catastrophic if there isn't a clear plan of preparation and if individuals and communities are not adequately ready. BEING PREPARED … ⚫ Authorities must have effective emergency response plans ⚫ Individuals must be educated about safety protocols ⚫ Access to resources such as emergency shelters, medical supplies, and communication systems. ⚫ Without these measures, disasters can have devastating impacts, resulting in unnecessary loss of life and prolonged suffering.
