Lesson 2 Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Unit 1: Nature and Elements of Communication OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson you must be able to do the following: differentiate verbal communication from nonverbal communication; and identify the types of nonverbal communication. Why are verbal and nonverbal communication equally important?
