The political scientist has the function of describing, analyzing and interpreting political systems as made by their owners and comparing them in an attempt to find the most appropriate formulas for improving human life. 1- The relationship of political science to political philosophy The Political philosopher goes beyond description, analysis, and interpretation to drawing a picture of what the state should be. He tries to set an example for the state and its political system - regardless of what is actually happening - though he takes it into account when analyzing and setting the example. Difference between political science and political philosophy Political philosophy doesn't only deal with political reality, it also addresses ethics and custom, in addition to providing what is called behind theory or theory. Political philosophy is devoted to building inclusive exploratory theories in politics and does not address the causes of a specific political reality Science is consistent. Philosophy is not. Philosophy is like legal thought when it is without a jurisprudence that gives it practical application. 2- Relationship of policy science to policy provisions and scientific subjects Relationship of political science to policy provisions Provisions are the general values on which reactions occur. The classification of judgments is a possible exercise in classifying them in public fields, such as the field of democracy or progress, although one can embrace a significant number of judgments and values at the same time. The identification of values is a relative and transferable issue for individuals, parties and political systems. 2- Relationship of policy science to policy provisions and scientific subjects Relationship of political science to scientific subjects Politics is a game in which only political structures, institutions and individuals are involved, so that everyone loses his or her qualitative characteristics. However, the study of the political phenomenon in an objective scientific manner requires abstracting it as much as possible. 3- Relationship of policy science to Economics There is a close relationship and a mutual influence between them. For example, there is a relationship between how income is distributed (economic status) and political stability within society (political status). Revolutions such as the French Revolution (1789) and the Russian Revolution (1917) were the result of unhealthy economic conditions (widespread poverty, hunger and unequal distribution). 3- Relationship of policy science to Economics The main engine of colonialism (which is a political phenomenon) was the European colonial powers' quest for cheap sources of raw materials, and the opening of new markets for the disbursement of their surplus products (economic factors). Likewise, the topics of wealth and income, working class conditions, income distribution policies and taxes are economic subjects, but they are also of interest to political science. 4- Relationship of policy science to Sociology There is a strong link between the political science and sociology, and this is due to the strong link between the social and political conditions of society. For example, the social construction of society (a small high class, a large middle class, a small low class) reflects positively on the political stability of society and Vice versa. 4- Relationship of policy science to Sociology Acute class inequality (the inflation of the poor class and the erosion of the middle class) leads to the political instability of society. Political upbringing is the process through which an individual acquires his or her knowledge, attitudes and views. Political ideas are cumulative over many years of an individual's life and through a variety of social institutions such as family, school, place of worship, party, university and others. 5- Relationship of policy science to Anthropology Anthropology is a humanistic science that is concerned with the study of human races, and is linked to political science. Differences between races over time have been the engine of political conflict. So, the study of minorities and ethnic groups is a common concern of politics and anthropology, as the case with the subject of racial segregation which has long been the focus of political scientists' attention as has been dealt with in anthropological research. 6- Relationship of policy science to History History provides a rich record of information and data about political reality that can be used to formulate general scientific rules for understanding, analyzing, and interpreting that reality. Hence, the strong link between political science and history is indispensable to each other. To paraphrase the saying, “Political science without history is like a planet without a root and also history without political science is like a planet without fruits. 7- Relationship of policy science to Law Political science is based on the legal method, which is constitutional law. International law is also considered a common branch of political and legal knowledge, as it focuses on the study of international political relations with a legal approach. The topic of the theory of the state is also one of the common topics that political scientists and legal experts are interested in. The issue of the legitimacy of the authority, which means the extent of its commitment to the law, is legitimate as long as it adheres to the law and vice versa. 8- Relationship of policy science to Psychology Psychology is a discipline that overlaps with political science. Political psychology is concerned with the study of the influence of psychological factors on individuals' political behavior. Some have tried to explain the political behavior of some historical leaders based on their psychological conditions when they became leaders of their countries, and they have started to invade peoples to prove themselves and get rid of the complex of imperfection.
