TRAINING PROGRAMS 1.0 PURPOSE: To define the Training Programs for SAEI Personnel and to identify the Role and Responsibility of L&T and other SAEI departments toward such Training. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 All Training Processes are in compliance with L&T Policy Manual (L&TPM). 2.2 All Training attended by SAEI personnel including Course Duration, Start/End Dates and Grades shall be recorded and maintained by L&T. 2.3 All Technical Training Courses and Development Programs in the Learning & Training Course Catalog (L&TCC), and Technical Personnel Development Catalog (TPDC) shall be identified as appropriate. 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is DIR- Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 This process is applicable to all SAEI CC and Departments. 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: 5.1 Learning & Training Policy Manual. Learning & Training Policy Manual Technical Training Program, Continued 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 L&TPM: A manual controlled by L&T which contains policies, processes and procedures on all training related matters. 6.2 L&TCC: A manual controlled by L&T which contains available courses for SAEI personnel. 6.3 TPDC: A manual controlled by L&T which contains development programs for SAEI personnel. 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 Concerned departments apply for training and L&T conduct training in accordance with L&T PM requirements for Personnel Training. 7.2 Concerned departments refer to the L&TCC for detailed information about each course and TPDC for available development programs. 7.3 L&T maintains an Active Training Record of all SAEI personnel. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 Selected SAEI Directors will be assigned the following: a. Learning & Training Course Catalog (L&TCC). b. Technical Personnel Development Catalog. (TPDC). 8.2 Concerned SAEI Managers will request specific courses using an Email as per Learning & Training Policy Manual and the Bi-Annual Training Schedule released by the Training Department. 8.3 If the request is received One Month Prior to course start date, the concerned Training Manager will confirm the request using (SAP LSO generated letters) Form, or an Email. 8.4 Training requests received Within One Month before course start date, will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis. GOVERNING STANDARDS FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS 1.0 PURPOSE: To establish Policies, Processes and Procedures for the development and the implementation of Technical Training Programs. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy That: 2.1 L&T shall provide specific training programs targeted for the development of SAEI personnel. 2.2 L&T along with other departments shall establish and implement all Training Programs. 2.3 Enrollment of personnel in Technical Training Programs is based on Job Requirements. 2.4 All Approved Training Programs shall be reflected in Technical Personnel Development Catalog (TPDC). 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 This process is applicable to all SAEI CC and Depertments. 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: 5.1 Learning & Training Course Catalog. (L&T CC) 5.2 Technical Personnel Development Catalog. (TPDC) 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 TPDC: A stand alone manual that contains all structured Training Programs to develop SAEI Maintenance and Technical Support Personnel. 6.2 L&T CC: A manual controlled by L&T which contains available courses for SAEI personnel. Learning & Training Policy Manual Governing Standards for Training Programs Continued 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 SAEI department head requests L&T to develop a new Training Program. 7.2 Learning & Training, in coordination with the requesting SAEI department identify and specify the knowledge and skill level to be attained by the training program. 7.3 Learning & Training drafts a training program identifying objectives and recommended list of courses. 7.4 A training Manager or a delegated training representative meets with the representative of the requesting SAEI department to evaluate the contents of the drafted program and make necessary changes. 7.5 DIR-L&T and the requesting SAEI department head approve the program. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 SAEI Director and /or Manager submits a request to DIR- L&T to develop a new training program for a targeted job within SAEI. 8.2 The concerned training manager conducts a job Need-Analysis to identify the knowledge and skills needed for the job for which the program is to be developed. 8.3 Concerned training Manager design a draft program aimed to prepare individuals to perform the functions of the targeted job. The program includes objectives, list of courses and any prerequisites. 8.4 The requesting SAEI Director and /or Manager will review the program and discuss its contents with the concerned training Manager to establish a program that is acceptable to both sides. 8.5 The concerned training Manager will forward the program to DIR- L&T for evaluation and approval. 8.6 Upon approval of the program, the concerned training Manager will forward the program to the requesting SAEI Director and /or Manager for evaluation and approval. 8.7 Upon receiving the approved program, the concerned training Manager will forward the program to L&T Manual Specialist to include in the TPDC. TRAINING PROVIDED BY PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT WITHIN SAEI 1.0 PURPOSE: To establish Policies, Processes and Procedures for allowing capable Staff Members within SAEI to perform Technical Training tasks. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 Approved SAEI staff in departments other than L&T may conduct Specific Technical Training tasks including On the Job Training (OJT) and Classroom Training. 2.2 DIR-L&T and concerned DIR/Department heads approvals are required to approve Non L&T Staff to perform any formal training task. 2.3 L&T shall issue the selected staff members a One Time Authorization for conducting the Required Training only. 2.4 Designated SAEI staff who are approved to conduct specific training will comply with L&T Policies and Processes when performing such Training duties. 2.5 Training provided by designated SAEI staff will be documented and reflected in the Trainee Training Records. Learning & Training Policy Manual Training Provided by Production Departments within SAEI, continued: 5.3 Learning & Training Aircraft Component On the Job Training Completion Form (SAEI 19-7087, as revised) 5.4 Class Attendance Report (SAEI 19-7088, as revised) 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 ACSET: Aircraft Components and Support Equipment Training department 6.2 DESIGNATED OJT INSTRUCTOR: An approved NON-L&T technical staff to perform a specific technical training in accordance with an approved course syllabus and standard sheet. 6.3 OJT: On the Job Training 6.4 OJT COMPLETION FORM: A form used by approved OJT instructors to log all completed OJT activities in accordance with an approved course syllabus and standard sheet. 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 L&T determines the particular training that needs to be conducted by other staff members within SAEI. 7.2 L&T Identifies, selects, and approves staff members who will be designated to conduct the required training tasks by issuing the Designee Technical Instructor Authorization Letter (SAEI 19-7092, as revised). 7.3 DIR/Department Head, approves the selected staff to be designated to conduct defined training tasks. 7.4 L&T Department continuously track the Performance and Activities of the approved designated staff when performing their defined training duties. 7.5 Recording and documenting training by designee instructors in accordance with L&TPM. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 L&T identifies the required training tasks that can be performed by other SAEI staff. 8.2 L&T validates SAEI staff members’ capability to conduct the required training. Learning & Training Policy Manual Training Provided by Production Departments within SAEI, continued: 8.3 DIR-L&T and DIR/Department head along with the selected staff members will communicate to jointly agree upon and approve the following: 8.3.1 Specific training tasks to be performed by the selected staff members. 8.3.2 Estimated work load imposed on the selected staff. 8.4 L&T will ensure that the selected staff members are aware of and comply with related L&T Policies, Processes and Procedures when performing training related duties. 8.5 L&T will delegate an appropriate Training Manager to control and supervise the training related duties of the selected staff members. 8.6 Applicable training Section Managers will assign qualified instructors to monitor and correlate approved course syllabus with actual OJT training activities. 8.7 For ACM and PPM Engines/Components OJT Training Programs, the following apply: 8.7.1 Designated OJT instructors will coordinate OJT courses conduction with the L&T respective ACSET Section Manager. 8.7.2 Designated OJT instructors along with ACSET Section Manager will create course syllabus for each OJT course. 8.7.3 ACSET Section Manager will create the OJT course code in the SAP LSO training Database plus upload standard sheet. 8.7.4 ACSET Section Manager will assign a qualified ACSET instructor to monitor and correlate approved course syllabus with actual OJT training activities. 8.7.5 Designated OJT instructors will schedule and conduct OJT training as required. 8.7.6 An OJT Completion Form (SAEI 19-7087, as revised) is submitted by designated OJT instructors to ACSET Section Manager for final approval and processing. This form must be signed by respective production shop Section Manager prior to submittal to ACSET Section Manger. Learning & Training Policy Manual Training Provided by Production Departments within SAEI, continued: 8.7.7 All Completed OJT Completion Forms (SAEI 19-7087, as revised) (hard copies) will be kept in file at the ACSET admin office for two (2) years. 8.7.8 ACSET Section Manager will create a Class Attendance Report (SAEI 19-7088, as revised) and update trainee/employee training records. 8.8 After completion of the training, the Designee Instructor shall complete the Class Attendance Report (SAEI 19-7088, as revised) in accordance with L&TPM chapter 10. 8.9 L&T Training Control shall process the submitted CAR in accordance with L&TPM chapter 10. 8.10 Learning & Training control section keeps a folder with all designated instructors forms to be presented upon request. ***** Manual Revision T-02 15 July 2020 Page 4 of 5 Chapter 03 Revision R11 15 July 2020 "This page is considered Uncontrolled Copy if printed on paper." LTA&S does the following based on the contract with the training providing Agency: 8.4.1 Arrange visit or Visa for training providing Agency's instructional staff. 8.4.2 Arrange Air Tickets. 8.4.3 Arrange Hotel Accommodation, and 8.4.4 Arrange Transportation between Hotel & Training Location. 8.5 Concerned training manager provides Training Schedule, Training Location, Training Starting and Ending Hours to all concerned SAEI Departments. 8.6 Concerned manager ensures that one of the attendees is supervising the documentation of this training by using the Class Attendance Report (CAR). 8.7 If L&T Staff attended the training he will be in charge of submitting filled class attendance report CAR to Supv. LTA&S. 8.8 Concerned OCT trainees fill out (SAEI 00-733 as revised) as an evaluation for the attended OCT trip and send it to supervisor LTA&S. Learning & Training Policy Manual Training bulletin, Continued 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 SAEI Departments submit request to L&T to produce a Training Bulletin. 7.2 L&T Evaluates and determines the need to produce a Training Bulletin. 7.3 If a Training Bulletin is required, L&T makes a draft and seeks the concurrence of the requesting and the related Engineering Departments concerning the validity and correctness of the content of the training bulletin if applicable. 7.4 L&T Distributes copies of the Training Bulletin in accordance with the predetermined mailing list. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 Producing a Training Bulletin: 8.1.1 SAEI CC Head makes a request for the need of a Training Bulletin, addressed to DIR- L&T. 8.1.2 DIR- L&T Reviews the request and refers it to the concerned Training Mgr for evaluation. 8.1.3 The concerned Training Manager develops the Training Bulletin, after obtaining the concurrence of the requester and related Engineering department. It should contain the following information: HEADINGS: Subject and applicability along with Serial Number and Date. BACKGROUND: Information on Present, Past or Similar problems related to the particular subject. SOLUTION OR RECOMMENDATION: End results and diagnosis to solve the problems the bulletin was issued for. Detailed schematics, diagrams, illustrations and references will be used to support the findings. Reference to relevant document (e.g.Maintenance Manual) should be made. Instructor identification must be typed at the lower right hand side of the bulletin. 8.1.4 The Training Bulletin is to be produced in the Approved L&T format. 8.1.5 A Control Number is assigned to the issued TB for reference. COURSES SCHEDULING AND ATTENDANCE 1.0 PURPOSE: To maximize the utilization of Training Resources through an effective process of scheduling and cancellation of courses. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 It is the responsibility of the license / permit holder to request his SAEI DIR/ CC Head to schedule him for the required re-certification training Three Months prior to the expiration date of the license or permit. 2.2 SAEI DIR/CC Head is responsible for identifying the departmental training needs and to insure that participants meet course pre-requisites as per L&T course catalog. 2.3 A withdrawal from a course is restricted to approved medical leaves or production demands as approved by the SAEI DIR/CC Head of the concerned department. 2.4 An Attendee can be dismissed from class if he: 2.4.1 Does not meet the course Pre-Requisite or, 2.4.2 Does not comprehend course material as determined by the concerned Training Mgr or, 2.4.3 Accumulates absences More than or Equal to 10% of the Total course Duration. 2.5 Concerned Training Manger reports No-Show Applicants names to the respective DIR/CC head on course start date. 2.6 Unjustfied “No-Show” applicant(s) may require SAEI HR to take disciplinary action(s). 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 This process is applicable to all SAEI Technical Departments. Shirts: plain color shirts/stripe long sleeve and collar (no T-shirt, shirt with logo, sport shirts and shirt must be tucked into trouser). b. Trousers: long plain color trouser (no shorts, jeans, sports pants). c. Shoes: closed toe or safety shoes (no sports shoes, flip flops, soft shoes). d. Socks: to be worn with shoes. e. Hats: no baseball caps (SAEI caps are accepted). 7.4.2 Proper and professional personal appearance: a. Proper hair cut. b. No smoking in non-designated area. c. Time punctual (on-time). 7.4.3 Company/work uniform is acceptable. Note: Those choosing to ignore the dress code requirement will be immediately requested to return to work and excused from class. 7.5 Concerned Training Mgr reports no show applicant(s) to concernced DIR/CC Head on the start of the course. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 DIR- L&T releases a schedule of Technical courses to SAEI DIR/CC Heads twice a year for each six month period. The schedule will be sent to SAEI DIR/CC Heads before first of JAN & JUL of each year, identifying Equipment type, Course Title, Date Duration & Location. 8.4.1 SAEI DIR/CC head will schedule personnel in accordance with the Training schedule. He will forward the approved form (Email to Concerned) to the L&T Mgr Two Months before the scheduled start date of the course. Requests received beyond that will be treated on first come first served basis. 8.4.2 L&T Mgr. will pass the Training Request (Email to Concerned) to the respective training Sec. Mgr for handling. 8.4.3 The training Sec. Mgr will check Training Prequisits and Seat availability and send confirmation (SAP LSO generated letters) or any other approved communication company documents such as an email to the concerned Cost Center. 8.4.3 L&T Mgr shall evaluate reports for courses not included in the Training schedule and inform the requester regarding their decision. 8.5 Cancellation of Training: 8.5.1 A course will be canceled by the concerned training Mgr if the Minimum Attendance requirement is not met. This will be communicated by a Telex, Fax, email or any other Approved communication company documents SAP LSO generated letters. to the concerned SAEI DIR/CC Head or Out Station by Supv. LTA&S. 8.6 The concerned Training Mgr will inform Supv. LTA&S of any attendees dismissal from a course along with instructor's recommendations. 8.7 Supv. LTA&S will communicate this dismissal to the applicable SAEI DIR/CC Head in writing. 8.8 No-show attendee’s name shall be submitted to the respective SAEI DIR/CC head requesting explanation for no-show sent to DIR- L&T in writing within a maximum of Three Weeks. 8.9 Dir-L&T will report unjustified no show explaination(s) to SAEI HR Payroll department for neccesarry action. This process consists of gathering, describing, evaluating, and recording important and frequently performed activities of the target job. 6.6 Training Need-analysis: a systematic study to identify production deficiency in order to determine if training should intervene to solve this deficiency. 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 Based on requests for course development, the concerned training Mgr. conducts a training need analysis. 7.2 Based on the results of the training need analysis, the course material will be developed by the concerned training department. The course material will include the Training Text Book, Instructor Guide (TST 94-001), and Test Questions. 7.3 The concerned Sec. Mgr. periodically evaluates the need to revise existing Training Material. Mgr or a qualified technical instructor to conduct Training Need Analysis. 8.1.2 The concerned Sec. Mgr will present to the Mgr. the results of the assessment for evaluation. It will include a recommendation as to whether training might solve the deficiency. 8.1.3 After consulting DIR- L&T the concerned Training Mgr will inform the department that requested the training of the findings and the appropriate action that Learning & Training will take. 8.2 Conducting “Job Analysis” The Sec. Mgr will assign a Technical Instructor to conduct job analysis in order to determine course Goals and Objectives. 8.3 Writing “Training Material”: 8.3.1 From the Job Analysis, the instructor will determine the course contents and objectives. These objectives must be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Tangible. 8.3.2 The concerned instructor will search, from all available resources for updated information pertinent to the subject of the course. 8.3.3 He will group the information into Chapters and Sections appropriate to the course objectives, and arrange topics in a logical sequence. 8.3.4 The concerned instructor will use ATA 104 Specifications as guidelines. And sentences should be short and direct to the point. Reference is to be made to Simplified English dictionary for proper selection of words. Each word must be checked for spelling and each sentence for grammatical construction. 8.3.5 The written material which include course contents, instructor guide, course outline and tests will be presented to the Sec. Mgr Who will evaluate the contents thoroughly and make the necessary corrections and changes then He will assign a course code. 8.3.6 The complete package (i.e. text, instructor's guide, and test) will be presented to the Mgr. for approval and printing authorization. CLASS ATTENDANCE REPORT (CAR) 1.0 PURPOSE: To establish Policies, Processes and Procedures governing the Completion and Routing of the class attendance form. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 All Training Activities (Classroom, Online, Self-Study and OJT) to be recorded on Class Attendance Records. 2.2 Each Instructor and Sec. Mgr completes and sign the class attendance report for every class conducted. 2.3 To update the student Training Records for SAEI employees in SAP LSO and keep the class attendance report on file for two (2) years from class completion date. 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 All L&T instructors and designated instructors. 4.2 All students attending L&T courses/OJT. 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: 5.1 L&T SAEI 19-7088, as revised (Class Attendance Report) 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 Students: individuals attending formal training. 6.2 Class Attendance Report (CAR): 6.2.1 For Training Attendees, this report reflects the name of student, PRN, CC, and Location, signature as well as his daily attendance in hours, and his grade. Learning & Training Policy Manual Class Attendance Report (CAR), continued: 6.2.2 For Non SAEI employees this report reflects company name, student name, Staff ID Number if provided, Signature and Assigned a unique number (SAP Generated Number) attendance, and Grades. 6.3 SAP LSO: System Application and Program Learning Solution. 6.4 LTA&S: Learning & Training Administration & Support. 6.5 No-Show: Course applicants who were confirmed to attend and fail to appear at the beginning of class. 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 Training instructor generates Class Attendance Report after a class is conducted and submits form (SAEI 19-7088, as revised) to training control. 7.2 Training control enters course and student data in a SAP LSO. 7.3 A confirmation of course Attendance and Final Grade Letter Can be Generated using SAP Transaction ZHRF168. 7.4 Information contained in the CAR will be transferred to the individual's training record by LTA&S. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 The instructor will Generate CAR Work Sheet using SAP LSO Transaction ZHRF036, Or use Form (SAEI 19-7088, as revised) with the Name, PRN, and Signature of the Attendees. No Show nominees will be marked as “N” in the respective results field in the CAR. 8.2 L&T respective MGR will report No Show attendee’s names to their respective DIR/CC heads on the first day of the training session. 8.3 The CAR worksheet is checked for accuracy and completeness, and is signed by the concerned Sec. Mgr. 8.4 The CAR worksheet is sent to the Training Control section of LTA&S on the first working day after a class is conducted. 8.5 The data from the CAR worksheet is entered into a SAP LSO by Learning & Training Control. Learning & Training Policy Manual Class Attendance Report (CAR), continued: 8.6 Un-finalized (Owner Copy) CAR is produced along with an office copy of the same. 8.7 The CAR worksheet and Un-finalized (Owner and Office Copies) CAR's are sent to the area that conducted the class. 8.8 The concerned Sec. Mgr. checks the data on the un-finalized CAR against the data submitted on the CAR worksheet. 8.9 If mistakes are detected, the corrections are made to the Un-finalized CAR. The office copy is marked as “CAR has errors” and is re-submitted to Learning & Training Control for correction and republishing. 8.10 If the data is correct, the Sec. Mgr. signs and dates both Owner and Office Copies, and returns Office Copy to Learning & Training Control. 8.11 The owner’s copy of Final CAR is signed by the instructor and Sec. Mgr. and is filed in the concerned training area for four (4) years period. 8.12 Learning & Training Control Section does the following: a. Update the Training CAR using the SAP follow up Process. b. For SAEI employees attendees, provide completion certificates to concerned training coordinators for distribution. c. For Non-SAEI employees, provide completion certificates to concerned training Mgr. for distribution. d. For Saudia Contractual/Cash Customers, dispatch completion certificates by registered company mail. 8.13 Any Correction on Final CAR after System update would require concerned Training Mgr. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION 1.0 PURPOSE: To identify a system for measuring Customer Satisfaction about the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Technical courses conducted and Quality of Training Materials through Student Feedback. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy: 2.1 To measure customer satisfaction about the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Technical courses conducted and quality of training materials through Student Feedback 2.2 That student feedback form shall be completed at the end of the Formal Training Class. 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 All L&T Course attendees. 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: 5.1 Student Feedback Form (SAEI 01-752) 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 Student Feedback Form: A form, intended to customer satisfaction about the effectiveness and efficiency of technical courses conducted and the quality of the Training material, to be filled by the student at the end of each course. ACTIVITY REPORTS 1.0 PURPOSE: To establish Policies, Processes and Procedures governing the contents of L&T activity reports. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 To generate and report all L&T activities on a monthly basis. 2.2 That activity reports contain highlights training statistics and technical assistance offered to other departments. 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 All departments within L&T. 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: None. 6.0 DEFINITIONS: 6.1 HIGHLIGHTS: Important items that are outside the normal everyday work e.g. completion of an important project. 6.2 TRAINING STATISTICS: Statistics of Technical courses offered during a particular period. CONTRACTED COURSES OFFERED TO OTHER AIRLINES AND COMPANIES 1.0 PURPOSE: To establish Policies, Processes and Procedures for providing Technical Training Courses and Services to other Airlines and Companies. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 To offer Training and/or Services in Technical fields to other Airlines and Companies including Non-Avaiation bussiness parties. 2.2 That DIR- L&T approval is required for all Training offered to other Airlines and Companies including Non-Avaiation bussiness parties. 2.3 That VP-SAEI HR approval is required for Training offered under the Contract Agreement Governance. 2.4 L&T shall make an effort to mtarialize any bussniess opportunity if it is clearlly does not jouperdize the fulfillment of previous commitment to any bussneiss party internally or externally. 3.0 PROCESS OWNER: 3.1 The owner of this process is Learning & Training (L&T). 4.0 APPLICABILITY: 4.1 This process is applicable to Learning & Training (L&T). 5.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: NONE. 6.0 DEFINITIONS: NONE. Learning & Training Policy Manual 7.0 PROCESS: 7.1 L&TA&S Receives Training Requests from the intrested parties and determines its capabilities to offer the requested services. 7.2 For Requests handled by a contract agreement DIR- L&T prepares a program for VP-SAEI HR approval. 7.3 VP-SAEI HR Approves / Rejects the program and forwards it to L&T. 7.4 DIR- L&T and Manager Technical Contracts develop a draft agreement. 7.5 DIR- L&T Responds to the Training Requests detailing the services being offered and method of payment by the Job Tickets. 7.6 L&T Instructors conduct the courses in accordance to terms and condition approved. 7.7 L&T Updates the requester of the program progress and student performance. 7.8 L&T Initiates the necessary financial process and produce certificates upon completion of the task. 8.0 PROCEDURE: 8.1 DIR- L&T Will evaluate each request with the concerned training Manager for availability of a qualified instructor to conduct the course and possible impact on production must be analyzed and considered. 8.2 Concerned training Manager will prepare a program identifying all pertinent information (e.g. scheduling and costing) to DIR- L&T for VP-SAEI HR Approval. 8.3 DIR- L&T Will contact Manager Technical Contracts to prepare and secure the necessary approval for the contract agreement. 8.4 For training that does not require a contract agreement DIR- L&T will inform the requester of the schedule and method of payment (e.g. Job Ticket.). 8.5 After completing the training concerned, training Mgr will forward a copy of class attendance report (CAR) to training control and inform Supv. Learning Training Admin & Support to initiate the paperwork for Billing. AIRCRAFT RATING TRAINING PROGRAM 1.0 PURPOSE: To control and regulate the implementation of the Aircraft Rating Training (ART) Program. 2.0 POLICY: It is SAEI Policy that: 2.1 The Aircraft Rating Training Program allows selected Technical Employees of ACFT MAINT, INSP, RAEM, and MCC to receive Aircraft Allowance on the Aircraft/Specialty based on validity of Maintenance Process Manual MPM training and successful completion of Testing. 2.2 The ART Program consist of a multiple-choice written Test on the Aircraft Type and Specialty. 2.3 Twenty-Four Months waiting period from the ART successful completion date is required for the next ART Program. 2.4 Each Nominee for ART Program: a.
